Think positively amr547! Prepare as much as you can but if it doesn't go your way keep trying, never give up
Starting 2016 debt-free

Furniture payment came out today - another £47.54 down, at least it will be done by October

Running totals in signature #037
Also hubby surprised me by paying off the credit card (which was originally his). Nice surprise for me!
So new total is in signature. He's balanced transferred some to his card so I feel a bit cheeky saying it counts towards my debt free total, but as we have always kept separate finances, he's insisting I count it as it never was accrued by me in the first place (his pre LBM crisis card for his numerous pointless gadgets!). a bit of a weight off my mind, as he has had a pay rise which has increased his income significantly so he can afford it, whereas my rise has been puny in comparison. The joys of working for the public sector!
This now means I've finally paid back over 50% of my original LBM total too!Baby due 21/06/2017

Pidge_jen my DH took over paying back one of his credit cards and I counted it off my debt paid total too! It's no longer mine so it still counts! I work in the public sector too

#156 checking in.
No new payments as yet and had my interest added onto my debt via my credit card - only a bit this month luckily, about £11 which has knocked me down 0.1%. Bit disheartening even at such a low figure but always happens.
However, on the plus side its pay day on Friday and Iv been working away at my spreadsheet and figured out the best way to pay things. Im minimum paymenting my credit card on Friday and paying a big chunk off my Very debt - the bigger of the 2. I figured out that leaving the Buy Now Pay later goods until they're just about to expire and attacking the current balance is the best way to do this! The interest is calculated on the current balance, not the overall balance which includes the BNPL goods, so it will hopefully keep the interest I'm paying as low as it can be. I'm almost embarrassed it took me that long to figure out haha.
Chin up and keep looking forward though!£2 savers club #54 Current total - £86

Afternoon everyone! Sorry for my leave of absence, it's very busy at work at the moment. I'll do a full update in a few days.
Needed a new phone recently due to a dying battery on my old one. Was due an upgrade anyway, but did a bit of maths and instead of getting a new £33 pcm contract and a free phone, I bought the phone outright and got a Giff Gaff sim. Works out at £21 pcm effectively over two years... £288 cheaper for a better allowance, no contract and an unlocked phone! Well happy  Careful of phone company rip offs.0 -

Finally back online after the move. Everyone is still doing so well. don't know where I am this month with payments. It's been so hectic!
My phond contract is up in 2 months and I had already planned to buy a phone then get a contract sim. It works out so much cheaper over time of contract length0
