Hi,
Hope you're all feeling well? I'm shattered, I wake up every single night at 2:30am bang on! Then struggle to go back to sleep and am usually up until 5! It's such hard work especially when you've got othe children to take care of!
DH has a works do tonight and I'm invited. I've never met his work lot before and would like to make an effort. I've been feeling quite fat and unattractive recently and am struggling to find an outfit. I'm in the in between stage where maternity clothes are too big and ordinary clothes are too small, or fit but I have what resembles a muffin top! My dad has suggested I wear a bin bag. What do you lovely lot think? XPAD 2023 Debt total as of Dec 2022 £18,988.63*April £17,711.03

well first off, your dad is being silly! (unless it's fancy-dress )
sorry you're feeling down and tired.
anyway, do you have something that's kind of fitted that you could wear with a baggy top over? Several of my "normal" clothes were kind of stretchy and would fit me ok - and then I would have a loose cardigan or shirt on top. Would that work?Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock0 -
I have skinny jeans that come over my "bump" and loose blouses but I feel as big as a house in them.
I think I've been building up to tonight and the fact I can make an effort because things with Dh have been strained recently and feel like he's repulsed by me, we only got married in October and I'm not ready to give up on the honeymoon period but I feel it's already over. It sounds pathetic I know, given that I'm soon to be 30 and the fact I'm incredibly happy we're having another bubba but I just feel meh.PAD 2023 Debt total as of Dec 2022 £18,988.63*April £17,711.03

krustylouise, consider yourself hugged! I'm sure you look lovely really. It is a weird time in that "in-between" stage where you are convinced you look bloated or just fat and nothing fits properly.
I'm sure your DH isn't repulsed by you - you're carrying his baby which is amazing! Unfortunately, life carries on and other things happen and the stresses and strains of work and home and everything else just takes over sometimes. That's real life sadly!!
But please, you aren't pathetic at all - don't forget, during pregnancy, all those little niggles that normally you could shrug off and suddenly feeling like huge issues that are impossible to face. And that's a lot of changes to take on in a short space of time... getting married (congratulations btw!), having another baby, reaching 30 (been there, done that - it's fine ) Christmas coming up....
so, cut yourself some slack, remind yourself what a brilliant job you're doing growing a human-being inside you, take a deep breath, dress to impress (in your skinny jeans - wow, I wish I could wear skinny jeans!), slap on some make-up and go out there knowing that we all think you are gorgeous and wonderful!!

Thank you AP that truly means alot. Thank you for listening to my moaning and replying with wise words that make me feel "normal" whatever that is!

Injection was fine. I used to have a fear but got prodded so much in my first pregnancy i seem to have got over it!
Krusty - i am sure you look better than you think. Skinny jeans and a top sounds good! Hope things are OK with your OH too, maybe have a chat with him if you are worried.
