  • I was like that yesterday. I wonder if they have growth spurts and need us to eat more.
That’s my theory and I’m sticking to it.

Quite possible! My appetite has been pitiful up to now, so something has definitely changed. And yesterday she was doing allsorts of gymnastics, my bump was a little uncomfortable most of the day, like she was star fishing to get more room.

I think the growth spurts thing is legit! I get the same thing.

Yes, must have been, I'm back to normal today. Put a pound on overnight though! She's gone quiet today though. I'm not worried, was thumping me in the bladder at 3 am and was doing a lot of growing a stretching yesterday, probably got herself in to a low down position.

    Hello everyone!

Went for scan today. Would bean move - would it heck. I jumped up and down, twisted, coughed, they tipped the couch down, had my legs in the air, hips wiggling on the bench (I was worrying at one point about breaking the bench) still wouldn’t move and it’s head was on it’s chest. Prob didn’t help I had a huge breakfast but I was starving. Heartbeats good though. I think I’m going to book for gender scan at 16 weeks. Will be just before my birthday. So I’ll be following something else I read about a bottle of pop and a chocolate bar before the next at 20 weeks and the private one I’m going to book for a months time.

So I’m 12 weeks 2 days. Due 27th April or there about. So I think this is my home thread for the next few months :)

I'd like to say the choc bar and coke worked for me dawyldthing, but mines a stubborn one! First attempt at the 20 week scan took the full 30 minutes but they didn't get all the measurements, second attempt I had some coke and chocolate and they still decided not to play ball. Took the full 30 mins again just to get the rest of the measurements that they needed but we finally got there and all ok. Downside was they ran out of time to have a nosey at the gender at the first one, then at the second they had their legs crossed

Yep! Unless we happen to get another scan for another reason (it's on the littler side, but not that little so I don't think we'll get a growth scan) Originally I told OH that I didn't want to know, but he persuaded me that we should find out, now he's not bothered and I really want to know!!

    Hi all!

I'm 24 weeks now (can't quite believe it!). Is there a follow-on thread to this one or should I just stay here??
