Small items can be chocking hazards. Might be lovely for an older child but certainly not for babies or young children.

There are quite a few decorative items for children's rooms and the young at heart in on there if you look.
  • Just had midwife app at 25+6. Bump is measuring a bit big. But with a husband who’s 6ft4 it’s probably baby’s long legs.
She said just to take paracetamol about my painful wrists and hands but I might go invest in some splints to wear.
Baby’s heartbeat was nice and strong too.
Feel a bit weird that bump is big, bit emotional, like I’m doing something wrong. Which is probably irrational and just me being hormonal.

You also have to remember that the tape measure isn't always accurate, can be off a fair bit. You've done nothing wrong. Mine jumped about a bit last pregnancy, but if they were worried they'd send you for a growth scan for reassurance.

My scan went well, everything looking and measuring as it should. Nice to have a bit of reassurance, though I know it isn't a guarantee.

Won't actually see a midwife until 28 weeks now, and that'll only be the second time I've seen her (I'm consultant led and my consultant appointments have been on weeks I'm supposed to see a midwife!).

It's a girl! I was very surprised, convinced that I was having a another boy!
  • Thank you.
I’ve got to have growth scans every four weeeks from 28 weeks anyway.
    Glad your scan went well

I've also got a placenta scan at 32 weeks as it was a bit low today, I'm having a section so it actually won't affect method of delivery for me, but they still want to do it.
  • The pram has just been delivered !!
It’s like Christmas. It smells like a new car hahaha.

    Hi ladies!

Just caught up with your news. Congrats to Toots!

I've got my 20-week scan tomorrow and I'm really nervous about it. I just hope our little bean is healthy! I've been feeling he/she move a lot this week so that's been reassuring.

Munchkin, my bump feels v big for only 20 weeks, I look more like 6/7 months I think, but my partner is also 6 ft 4 and he is a big build so I'm sure there's a monster baby in there. Will see tomorrow if it's off the charts!

Ooh exciting Munchkin. What did you go for?

    Good luck today celepie
  • We got the Nuna Mixx. Saw it in Mothercare then found a website that had the same package but a slightly different colour for almost £400 less.
