I told my workplace at 6 weeks - highly hazardous environment, so I really didn't have a choice.

And we got our pram at about 20/21 weeks, and I put it up straight away, to check all the bits were there! (They weren't - I'm far more 'superstitious' about bits being missing than I am about any curse! But now I have all the bits before I need the pram. At worse, get it, put it up in someone else's house, or put it up and take it down again in your own!)

Hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying the cooler weather. I am on my last full week of work - go down to 4 day weeks next week, and not a moment too soon. At 31wks, Sproglet is getting heavy!

I told work around 10 weeks I think. We've just been through a bit of recruitment with some new members joining the team so the bosses were discussing portfolios and I wanted them to be aware that I'd be going off in about 6 months so they could consider it when they decided who was going to do what. Big purchase wise I don't want to buy anything until after the 20 week scan. I know of a few who have had bad news so I'm being cautious. Not too long to wait now though - 4 weeks ish.

I told my boss at 5 weeks simply because I didn’t know when I’d need to start taking time off for appointments. I told a couple of female colleagues too but we waited till the 12 week scam before revealing all

Now officially in second trimester and I do feel my energy levels picking up slightly. I don’t feel so drained now at the end of the day but I still find I’m not able to be as active as I was. I did a full house clean today, first time I’ve done it in one go since being pregnant (normally I split it or get hubby to help) and I had to stop several times for a 5 minute break, before I could just get on it all the way through.

I think I told my manager around 8 weeks so I could get maternity appointments off. We told some close friends aroubd then too explaining pre scan there could be bad news so to keep news quiet. Told most people after 12 week scan. Didn't buy much before 20 week scan.

We've bought a buggy now and it's in the house! My husband scoffed at my protests it's bad luck. I'm not generally all that superstitious to be fair (and he definately isnt).
