*Touch wood* I haven't been sick in 2 days, so maybe things are improving. I still get really nauseous when I'm hungry, I have to snack constantly and yet I have only put on 0.2lbs!
Sorry you didn't get all the checks done today, clarabell but at least you get another peek in 2 weeks time. Are you going to find out the sex of the baby?
I hope you feel a bit better cats and are managing to sleep. Have you bought some maternity clothes yet? I didn't get much wear out of them in my first pregnancy, I didn't start wearing them until really late.0 -
I've bought maternity jeans and am living in them but all tops etc are still fine. Interestingly loads of my dresses dont fit and bras are tight because my ribs seem to have shifted so stuff fitted round the middle doesn't do up even though it's not on the bump!
So hoping to cope with the jeans for ages really and maybe just buy the odd bit later one.Officially Mrs B as of March 2013

Glad your sickness is easing off! We were going to find out the sex up until a couple of weeks ago but have now decided to keep it a surprise!
I'm living in maternity leggings & tights with maternity dresses for work - my maternity jeans are too big xx0 -
Clara that's so funny how our bodies can be different - my maternity tights and leggings won't stay up!! So jeans with a belt it is, although I'm not really utilising the over bump part yet.
Maternity dresses are all huge on me - have you found anywhere you'd recommend?Officially Mrs B as of March 2013

Hey Cats,
I got my maternity dresses from New Look. I got a couple of size 12's in the sale about 8 weeks back but they are huge just now as I dropped from a 12 back down to a 10 (but fully anticipate going back up so sure I'll grow into them!) so purchased a 10 to do for now. They are gathered at the front so doesn't matter too much if your bump is just small.
I also got my jeans from there but they are under the bump and also a size 12 - got them in the sale also but sure I'll grow into them too. I've had to get new blouses/tops too as my boobs have got huge so not a lot of my older ones fit :rotfl:
I can highly recommend Next maternity tights, a tad pricey at £9 per pair but they stay up great and are very comfortable! I originally got ones from New Look and they were rubbish, kept falling down too! Not a good look!!!0 -
Ooh thank you that's really helpful, had forgotten about New LookOfficially Mrs B as of March 2013

Wow it's really quiet on here just now!
How is everyone doing?
I'm patiently waiting for next Tuesday to see our wee button againIn the meantime, I've got my eye on a pram, car seat and base for payday :T

I stalk every day but it's soooo quiet! And I'll be leaving next week!
How exciting about pram etc Clara, what are you thinking? We're banned from buying until the new year but have been doing a bit of browsing anywaywe've also chosen our crib which the in laws will be getting for us which is lovely of them.

My boobs have got huge as well clarabell. I need a new bra every few weeks!
I have no idea what to buy, especially regarding a pram. Any recommendations? We won't be buying anything until February anyway though.
Today I was sick outside a busy shop in central London at lunchtime and it was awful! Not sure if the sickness is related to my heartburn and acid reflux which is horrendous at the moment. It’ll be worth it in the end obviously, and I know a lot of people suffer way worse than I am, but it would be nice to have just one day when I feel ok.0 -
We have decided on the Silver Cross Wayfarer pram. My sister in law has this pram and it suited our needs and budget. I know nothing about prams to be honest so was happy to go on her recommendation. The same for the car seat and base. We are going for the Maxi Cosi Pebble Plus seat and 2way fix isofix base - a bit pricey but you can use the same base for the next age group car seat.
We would like to get the big purchases out of the way before Christmas comes so we don't over spend on presents :rotfl: I have seen a couple of cotbeds I like but they are very similar to what my sister in law has got for my niece so I'm very wary of being seen to copy them!
I finally got some new bras yesterday but they don't seem to be all that comfortable! I'm just so used to my normal ones even if they are too tight :rotfl:
Sorry to hear of your sickness in London cyantistMy heartburn seems to be getting increasingly worse this week too but like you said, it will all be worth it in the end :T
