Hi All, I haven't posted for ages but I've been skim reading everything & trying to keep up - work has been manic, I've been running up and down the country and staying away a lot & exhausted. Hopefully normality resumes soon !.

I hope everyone is OK and feeling well. It seems like there have been a few hic-cups for people over the last few weeks but hopefully all will become smooth from here on in.

I've also got a consultant appt in February but from what I have seen of being "consultant led" so far it's not been that much better than being "midwife led". One appointment at 12 weeks, 5 mins and we'll see you again at 28 weeks thank you !

Still, everything seems to be going OK so far, only another week though and I have to switch threads again - on the one hand time is dragging on the other it seems to be going so fast !

Yea the midwife confirmed I am and that I will recieve a letter but ive no idea when! I'm ony 14 weeks so guess there is time.

1st baby was breech so a CS. This baby I plan on having vbac but very much depends on which way up it is - If I want a breech vbac i'll have to fight for it and be very lucky!

So you should be on the system them if your midwife has confirmed it! Might be worth enquiring about it at your 16 week midwife appointment? I wonder if they won't do your consultant's appointment until you're 28 weeks onwards, once they have an idea of whether baby is breech or not?

I have everything crossed that baby isn't breech, so you stand a good chance of getting a VBAC and that your midwives are willing to fight your corner with you!

Hugs for all the problems miss_i . Is good they will keep a close eye on things though for you.

If it is c section related they probably won't see you until after 20 weeks Rebekah but check with midwife at 16 weeks like miss_i said .

    How are we all doing?

I'm 21 weeks tomorrow, does seem to be going quicker now. Had a cuddle with my new 4 day old nephew yesterday. So lovely and made me even more excited.

    Hi everyone,
Nice to see lots of names turning blue or pink on the list :)
Been trying to sort out mat leave and occ health reviews at work at present, currently like pulling teeth, as I'm changing jobs next week but staying within the nhs, but no-one wants to claim responsibility to pay my maternity leave...lol. Trying to make sure I get it all sorted by 25weeks, as apparently thats when it needs to be officially declared...all very confusing and realising I'm almost 22 weeks now (eek!) it all goes very quickly. Also moving areas for new job as well, so technically GP and midwife-less atm until I register in the new place...
    Hi to newcomers :) xx

  • Hello all and a big hi to newbies. Had my 20 week scan today. All went well. Might need a further heart scan as DH has a heart condition. Can someone please change me to pink? Can't work out how to do it on my tablet. Really thrilled to be having a little girl.
