I'm too scared to use a doppler. My friend gave me hers but I haven't taken it out of the bag yet!

Decided to brave the scales this morning and the battery has run out! Guess that's fate telling me not to worry lol.

    2hrs 20mins til my scan

Rinroo- thanks for the tip about Mamas and Papas petite cots. I've been looking at swinging cribs but they look quite small (not bothered if it swings or not) compared to the petite cot so will probably have a look at them now. We moved all our bedroom furniture round to fit the cot bed in our room last time and it was like the Krypton Factor trying to get in or out of bed so we need something bigger than a moses but smaller than a cot bed this time!

Yay scan went great! Arrived 15 mins early and went straight in (so glad as my bladder was full!!). Lovely sonographer talked us through everything. I got a fit of giggles halfway through, my OH said something to make me laugh. Afterwards we went for a nice coffee by the beach.

Off to work once I've eaten and I'm going to buy the pram this afternoon online, getting the Uberchild Evo in rainbow spots. My OH does a little gamble every weekend on various sports, never spending more than a fiver, and this weekend he won £200 :T so that pays for most of it!

Glad the scan went well flutter :D - bonus you got seen straight away! I just googled your pram as I haven't heard of it before - it's really funky! Love the colours.

Skint: The petite cot is super sturdy and looks more expensive than it is (we've gone for white) They claim it goes from birth to 12 months. M&P advised me to buy travel cot sheets as they fit perfect so that'll give you an idea as to how big it is. I am hoping that I can move baby from the petite cot straight to a toddler bed with an extra bed guard to save having to buy a cotbed. Just hope she isn't a big'un :rotfl:

Rinroo.. Ikea do a tiny cot too.. I got one for my grandson because my son was in a 1 bed flat when he was born.. I think it was reduced to about £27 .. pretty much the same size.. grandbeast is only tiny and he fit in until he was 2! As get a toddler bed I'd just get a single bed if you can.. a toddler bed is 140cm long and would need replacing with a single when they are about 3. single beds have more room for cuddles and stories and much comfier to sleep in! My rather large 2.5 year old went into a bed from her cot about 2 months ago and is so much more settled. :) .. I think she was waking herself up thrashing about in her toddler bed and now she has room to flail herself about. She had refused to sleep in her own bed for about 6 weeks so it was a desperate measure!

Finished my traveling now till Christmas, my mum left me to the airport and she was very emotional. Think she's just worried about everything!

Pre made Aptimal and infacol survived the journey, haven't opened my second case yet but I'm praying my Easter eggs made it to! :D

Feeling so tired today, baby gave me quite a few little reassuring kicks this morning (I worried the entire time I was away about effects of traveling). I'm moving house tomorrow and have some movers coming so I need to have a look around and make sure DH hasn't wreaked the joint

Jeez Tata you don't do things easily do you?! Good luck with the move, and I hope the Easter eggs survived :D

I was so sore/achey yesterday evening/night after my ultrasound and I don't even think she pressed that hard :(. Still a bit achey today. In a grump as didn't get much sleep and have a headache now.

Meant to be going out for our anniversary tonight (it's tomorrow but we have OH's kids on Weds) but at moment I'm not feeling it. Will see how the day goes.

Flutterby, proud to say the Easter eggs have made it in one piece! Whoop! I'm exhausted today, going to rest now after an hour of running around.

Hope you will feel better soon and get to enjoy a night with your OH! Lots of fluids should help you get rid of that headache!

Despite drinking litres of water yesterday my headache got worse. I was sent home early from work so went to bed to try sleep it off but no joy. Still have it today so have taken a sick day.

So much for a romantic night with OH for our anniversary! As it happened he got called out on an emergency last night (he is a social worker) and he didn't get home til 7.30pm and then ended up doing paperwork most of the night! C'est la vie! It's my birthday on Monday so we'll have a joint celebration then.
