Hello everyone - another newbie moving up the ranks! 13 weeks tomorrow, had my 1st scan on Wednesday & everything looked great. Just waiting for the NT results now, but I know the measurement was 1.6mm so just keeping fingers crossed for the blood test.

Morning sickness seems to be abating thankfully. It was all pretty grim from 7-12 weeks. Hope everyone else is feeling OK.

Baby has been quite active last couple of days which has been nice to feel.

Hello everyone and big welcome to all the newbies.

I'm impatient for my scan now as only 9 days to go. Can't wait to find out what we are having. Still not really felt baby although maybe I have. Being my first it is hard to know what is baby and what is gas. I have IBS so I have had loads of random stomach feelings anyway.

Hi all, I've been reading since I find out I was pregnant so I recognise a few names from the less than 12 weeks thread, but haven't posted before. I'm 13 weeks today, due on 26th July. Nausea and fatigue seem to have abated now which is great and it's so nice to be able to talk about it with friends rather than trying to hide it.

Just wanted to ask, have any of you had dizzy spells? I did read that it can happen as progesterone relaxes the walls of the veins, lowering your blood pressure. I had a dizzy spell this morning in church, I think it was from the regular change between kneeling and standing. When I knelt down, my head started to go fuzzy, my vision blurred increasingly with mainly darkness and bright spots, I could hear my breathing really loudly, I felt sick and was suddenly really hot and sweating. Luckily hubby was with me and he took me out into the porch area. A nice man got me a drink of water and I recovered after sitting down for a few minutes.

It was all a bit strange as I've never felt anything like it before. I'm going to call the midwife team in the morning to get some reassurance but I've been alright for the rest of the day (after a nap!).

So, anyone else had anything like this? My first thought was to worry about baby but I think everything is ok, fingers crossed.
