I think DH is chuffed that baby has his blood. It is very easy for him to feel disconnected from the pregnancy sometimes, so I think he's really happy that baby his blood lol. He loves hearing all of the updates that Emma's Diary send through each week as well, bless him.

Oh man, I have an exam on Friday that I just don't feel I've studied enough for. Starting to get really nervous about it now! Eek!

I am B- and I have no idea what DH is. He wouldn't want to know blood makes him squeamish. Not looking forward to him being in the room at the birth as he is guaranteed to end up on the floor out cold. Everyone says he will cope but I 100% know he won't. He can't even watch anything blood related on the TV. I will have my mum on standby just incase

Two days until the half way mark and our 20 week scan.

In other news, we are meant to be getting our new kitchen fitted on the 1st. The fridge/freezer we ordered came today but they cannot get it into our back garden to get it into the house because our fence and neighbours fence are too close together. Looks like we are going to have to take some panelling away from our fence (Hi dad, you will be doing this at the weekend!) and get the fridge redelivered next week. Pain in the bum!

Hi Ladies, hope everyone is ok x

Thanks Gelly, I am feeling a bit better today, forcing myself not to listen to my doubts! No particular reason to think we will lose this one, it has all been because of chromosome issues before and we are looking clear this time. I just won't fully relax until the baby is here and then I am sure it will be a whole host of new worries!
The hospital are looking after me, and like you I am getting lots of extra scans, it will be my 5th scan on Monday.
  • Hi ladies,

    Can I join you?

I had my 12 week scan this morning, sobbed my eyes out when we saw baby on the screen (I was fully expecting the worst), OH shed a tear too! We actually had two scan cos my bladder wasn't full enough, it bloody felt full enough!! :rotfl:

They put me at dead on 13 weeks, I thought I was 12w5 so only two days out.

After scan we went to tell my parents and OH's mum, both mums cried! Have also told my brother and a few friends but my besties won't find out til Sunday as I want to tell them in person and we are having a spa day then.

I'm so relieved, it's been a tough 9 weeks being on tenterhooks the whole time, it's nice to relax a bit now. It's been a beautiful sunny day here, first in ages, so seems like a sign. OH took me out for lunch and we went for a walk by the sea.

I've had loads of little kicks today and yesterday.. I just love it..

    Hey everyone,
Hope you are all doing well. Im in week 24 now, does this mean i have to go to another thread.
I have a quick question in regards to bottles. Should i just buy anti-colic bottles from the start or should i buy normal ones.
Im unsure what to do (ftm). Any help would be great.
  • Thanks LemonTree, I think we will probably get a crib this time,

khal - I found the MAM Anti-colic to be great, my friend used them as well and loved them but be warned there are quite a few bits to put together when you sterilise. They are handy though as you can sterilise an individual bottle which is handy in many situations.

euronorris - I am B+ does that mean one of my parents is a B? They both swear they aren't!

    Welcome flutter!

Sick again this morning, damn it!
