I've had it a few times as well. Usually when I've eaten too much and feel uncomfortably full lol

Euro, great news on the PPI. Your post has made me look out paperwork for our PPI claim. That's DH job for the weekend.

We are going to Mothercare again tomorrow, want to see if I can fit the pram I want into his car because I know it won't fit in mine but we can swap cars ;-)
  • Euronorris - PPI claim is very handy!!

lulu - I'm so sorry you are having a rubbish time at work. Are you sure you can't go off sick? Its just not worth feeling so bad about and things feel so much worse when you are pregnant , I felt so upset about lots of things last time and work was quite stressful, ended up on maternity leave earlier than I planned and was so happy for it.

4 weeks until our 20wk scan, feels like ages away though the time is flying by. I am worrying a bit, I didn't feel flutters when my midwife asked at 16wk, she wasn't worried. I wasn't worried. I thought I felt movements 16+2 onward but the last 3 days I've felt nothing. Should I be worrying about movements yet? I didn't have any until 20 weeks last time so can't remember when I need to start worrying about them. Any ideas?

Hope all are well, Gelly - hope your sickness improves x

Moneypenny I didn't feel any till 19 weeks this time, so please don't worry. I hate it when they ask these questions and you're made to feel like you've failed a test
  • Thanks LemonTree, the midwife said not to worry but it was weird feeling flutters and then not for the last few days. Wish I hadn't felt any at all cos then I wouldn't be worrying!

I think at this stage, there's so much space they're moving but you don't always feel it

Pigpen - I'm sorry that your scan turned out to be too late for the nuchal testing. Fingers crossed for the quadruple test. Do you have to wait long for the results?

They said if there is a problem they ring in about 10 days otherwise they just send a letter so whenever that arrives

Been feeling like there's a distinct lack of oxygen in the air today. Guess its the baby I need to thank, didn't feel like this till much later on last time

Are you possibly anaemic?? breathlessness is one of the reported symptoms.. I never get any symptoms regardless of how love my Hb gets..

I get the odd wiggle every couple of days.. at 16 weeks..

anterior placentas often mean you feel movements later too.

20 week scan date through for slap in the middle of half term.. when we were planning to go to the outlaws!

I'm very uncertain about asking the gender.. I was devastated when they said Pixie was a girl, I spent 3 days sobbing.. I don't think I can go through that again.. If it's a girl when it is passed to me I won't care but I don't want to feel upset it is a girl, I know I will love her just the same. OH has 3 girls, I really want him to have a son.. and my boys are all grown up so a little boy would be lovely.. we just think OH is really a woman! lol

Hi moneypenny, thanks for asking. Haven't been properly sick in a week now although I've had a couple of little moments when cleaning my teeth this week but I honestly think it's starting to pass and I can feel a little more energised too.

Ladies, a quick question for you - several times today I've had a very sharp pain just beneath my belly button and only when I lean forward to put socks on, pick something up or even when I cough! It's incredibly sharp and lasts only a second or two. Has anybody else experience this and what is it?

I'm 14+1 now so wondering if things are starting to stretch a bit.

    Many thanks
    Gelly
