  • Dove cream now in 3 for £5 multi deal. If buying 2 with trigger would return £3.30 on a £5 spend against Sainsbobs http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/Shopping/FindProducts.aspx?Query=dove%20maximum%20protection%2045ml
Not amazing unless its something you need anyway. I'd imagine it's a nice moisture cream

    Afternoon all
Feel sick. Got some scratches on the side of my car, also a slight dent, dont know how they got there. Went to local place to get an estimate and he reckons will cost £440. He also mentioned as its near christmas that they want £100 deposit before they do the job. Also, cant fit me in till next Monday. Have used this guy before and comes highly recommended. Just wondering, does this sound like average payment or do you think he has bumped up the price as its near christmas. Also wondering if its better to wait till January and then get some estimates.

Gotta tell OH yet. He will go :mad::mad:

    Good afternoon all

Sorry to hear about your car gocat. I normally pay £50 cash to get dents pulled out by a smart repair chap that comes out to you. If they are doing a full panel respray then I would expect to pay around £200 to £250 cash for a wing. I get a lot of work done on company cars and regularly do cash jobs rather than go through insurer for small scapes. (I don't damage the cars, just part of my job to get them repaired).
It's difficult to say if your quote is a bit steep without seeing the damage. I am assuming that includes the vat?
Have never heard of them wanting a deposit.

Anyone with a Heron food near them Muller Variety 6 pack yogurts (sprinkled with choc) are £1.25 bb date 24 Dec, I love the choc orange one with a couple of ginger biscuits.

Sorry to hear your bad news.

The price is close to what I was quoted for scratches and a dent put into the passenger side of my car whilst it was parked in an asda car park by a woman who drove into my car whilst trying unsuccessfully to park her own car. She knew she had hit my car, as she quickly reversed and drove off to find a different parking bay. What she had not realised was that my DS was in my car at the time, and he took down her number plate.

There are different types. There are credit cards, and also charge cards, which you have to pay off the full amount each month. My current one is a credit card, but I still pay it all off monthly, but do all my purchases on it to earn avios.

There are loads of good offers on there, lots of statement credits, although the current argos one is the most generous one in a while. A few months ago they did £10 credit when you spend £30 in WHS, I bought Starbucks giftcards for my daughter!

https://www.headforpoints.com is a really good website to use. It is aimed at travel promotions, but one of the tabs across the top is for credit card offers, and it rates all of them and tells you what you can "get" with them. Usually avios, but also free nights at a hotel. Not sure if it reviews the cashback ones, not looked in a while.

I tend to cycle through cards, I'll have them a few months, do the spend requirement, bank the avios, then move onto the next. Which reminds me, must look into cancelling my BA Amex, and taking out a Gold Rewards Amex.

There is often cashback on topcashback/quidco for taking them out as well.

Yes some excellent offers recently. £25 back on £50 Argos spend is per card, so don't cancel just yet - just working out how to get the offer applied on supplementary cards too ;) (used to be easier with Fiursquare).

Thanks for all your replies. Yes this is on the passenger side too. Was your quote for insurance springdreams. I told him I would pay cash. I think he is bumping up the price because christmas is near. Do you think it would be ok to wait a few weeks till after christmas. there is several small deepish scratches and a longish single line dent with superficial scratch. Cant believe my bad luck grrr.
  • Wonder if anyone can help?

What do you think would be reasonable fee for conveyancing on a right to buy property? Ive got a few quotes, not done this before so havent a clue! And the fees vary widely.
:hello: The grass is not greener, it just looks that way from a distance :hello:
  • For those of us who fancy another pop at a coke glitch, it looks like our next window of opportunity will be on the 1st of January..:D

Looks like I'll get a long lie though as my store doesn't open till 10am, although it might also give the multis a bit of time to calm down in the morning.

No harm in waiting. They will rub it back and prime it so no need to worry about rust if that's what you are thinking :)
I would get more than 1 quote as well.
