The trigger for the packs of 36 anti-bacterial wipes is the bloo loo gel. You can use either the blue or the white bottle. The 2 are on a 2 for £2 offer but the gel is not showing, so compares as £2.26 against £1 in T.

Thanks so much for that pet. Much appreciated.

Please could one of you be kind enough to explain the Dettol Wipes and Sanex glitch to me. I am going to Sada in a minute and wouldn't mind giving it a whirl, but knowing how thick I am, it will go straight over my head. I've had a look at the shopping receipts, but obviously the triggers are missing and I have no idea what they are.

    Many thanks in advance.

I am a sanex / dettol novice but today I got

Sanex men dermo double protect antiperspirant with the grey lid 3025 b/c as the trigger in the 3 for £5 http://groceries.asda.com/asda-webstore/landing/home.shtml#/promotion/ls74941 The more expensive sanex bath stuff seems to bring the best results v Tosco I got the Sanex dermo kids bodywash and foam bath and dove go fresh pomegranate 250ml deodorant I believe that the 250ml can of dove go fresh cucumber deo is also a trigger - I have one on hd for later but not actually tried it yet.

White or aqua bloo toilet gel with micro scrubbing particles is the trigger for the 2 for £2 cleaning offer http://groceries.asda.com/asda-webstore/landing/home.shtml#/promotion/ls81401 I went for the white as the aqua was showing oos for me on msm, along with the dettol anti bac wipes priced at £2.26 as it seemed to bring the best return. hth

    Afternoon all
Feel sick. Got some scratches on the side of my car, also a slight dent, dont know how they got there. Went to local place to get an estimate and he reckons will cost £440. He also mentioned as its near christmas that they want £100 deposit before they do the job. Also, cant fit me in till next Monday. Have used this guy before and comes highly recommended. Just wondering, does this sound like average payment or do you think he has bumped up the price as its near christmas. Also wondering if its better to wait till January and then get some estimates.

Gotta tell OH yet. He will go :mad::mad:

Sorry to hear your car has been damaged :(
Just drive around with the scratches for a few weeks and get it fixed in January if it's cheaper :)
DH found a massive dent in our bumper one morning where it had been reversed into in the night and 6 months down the line it's still there while he tries to get someone to sort it out.
We've been quoted about £800 for a new bumper (this ones been cracked and is unrepairable).
Insurance excess was £650 which is why we didn't get it fixed months ago (we've since managed to prove who did it and it's finally being repaired at their expense :D )

While we are all talking about quotes and stuff, anyone give me a rough idea for the labour prices to get a boiler fitted. I can source the boiler for less than the plumbers can (mates rates through someone that works for a boiler company) but the price they want for fitting it seems huge to me. Any rough prices anyone please?

Mr M being kind to us, or not:(*. Not really the substantive offers - which remain almost all still on (with an exception here and there of course to trip you up) - but a few of the normal prices have gone down. This is mainly in the tinned area. So, hold off getting that SP Chunky Chicken tin, as there could now (or soon) be a better option.

Price increase - loose ginger has gone up from £2.69/kg to £3.49:eek:/kg. However, you won't be getting more than 1p, which will probably appear as 2p, and even if it compared vs M at 2p would be 1.8p with 10% therefore rounding down to 1p anyway (unless the rest of the comparable bill ends in a 2 or greater).

Tetley 240 tea bags - which I wasn't really advising in the first place - have gone from £2.89 last Wednesday to £4 today:( - and, yes, that £4 is on a label with a red border and the price has a red background to it (I have no idea why, but a significant size of people think that red means a special offer) - unless you have one of the more common types of bilaterial colour-blindness, in which case it may be indistinguisable, or virtually indistinguisable, from green:( or, otherwise, almost certainly, what is 'red' to me is undoubtedly a different colour to you but which you know as 'red'. http://www.livescience.com/21275-color-red-blue-scientists.html

If you are influenced by 'red' though, that would have the same effect on you regardless of what of my colouring you see as red, as you still get the same wavelength transmitted to your brain. Except that I have an autism spectrum disorder (nothing to do with the spectrum of light;)) so I may be unlikely to be influenced by red at all:D or by much else, such as branding, that is very effective in influencing the emotions and opinions of probably the vast majority of people. Fortunately for me they have to use techniques that work on the 'masses' rather than a 1% of 'disordered' people. It might explain why I have more difficulty finding items when they have moved them to eye-level:rotfl::D:D - I tend to be looking down, rather than making 'eye-contact', and all the best bargains are on the lowest levels of the shelves:D. Such a benefit in avoiding:j the impact of those wobbly signs in Mr A too that don't quite affect my brain, I suspect, in the way that they affect most people:D:rotfl:.

Meanwhile - some minor details - I've found the equivalent to the SP Lemon Curd once again, but now can't find the equivalent to SP Gravy Granules (so I'm starting to conclude that M doesn't produce that anymore). Just mention the Bisto Stock Melts there - at 72p, price looks low (has probably been 48p two years ago:rotfl:) but is actually more expensive on weight than the AB Chicken Gravy Granules (240g), the Bisto "Best" granules (that seem to be the cheaper on weight although they are £1.39) and more expensive than the 170g Bisto Granules at £1 (that should bought only when they are 62p).

Finally - why didn't anyone tell me? The German Salami at 89p/kg did indeed look too good to be true. It turns out to be 89p/100g and therefore it's a glitch in my own system:o (sorry about that!). So - it's probably back to the non-Deli. version from T.

*"Kind" to us on the current good offers, although not kind to us if you have already had enough of them and wish the offers would be moved onto other things. However, not of course being "kind" at all, as it's nothing to do with that but their own setting of their prices in a strategical attempt to make them money which is their own job.

    Debt-free and Proud!
BUNGED. I've been so dopey today. Hardly any work done. Struggling to get my brain working. Two more days!!

Saw a brilliant thing on the news today. Something called a Community shop. Food provided by some of the bigger supermarkets that would otherwise be wasted, sold on for cheap to those on income support. All you need to be is local and to sign up to a 'back to work' course, then you can shop there. Nice idea to help people and stop supermarket waste.
