You have them by the short and curlies with that one, I particularly like the inclusion of the minutes of the meeting at which you were, well done.

I await their rejection with interest.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

agreed , looks brilliant to me , apart from using NTK maybe once or twice and yet using NKT maybe 2 dozen times, bearing in mind a solicitor or barrister is going to read this as if it were a legal document so important to get these details 100% correct before submission , so that he or she concentrates on the content itself

so nitpicking = yes, but it detracts from what we would consider to be the best IAS appeal seen up to now and one that should deservedly win , although with this smarmy, arrogant g*t you never know

but please amend the appeal and give it a go making sure its within the 21 day timeframe - you are not bound by the decision anyway, but it would look good in court if this was produced too (if they were stupid enough to take it there) if it still failed their litmus tests

No problem I will do, I have another week to file it so I can polish it over the weekend. I presume its all done online the rejection letter gave a code and the IAS appeal website? I havent actually logged in to it yet but I presume there are no surprises of having to submit evidence by post at the last minute?

Its a complete fluke she was at the meeting at the time but the witness statement and minutes we have are as good as you could possibly hope for.

Regarding point 1) - I have no photograph to submit as evidence. So should I either remove references to any photographic evidence or remove the whole section?

You shouldn't need a code - just the PCN number. Make sure you add attachments BEFORE submitting the appeal or you don't get a second chance to add more.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You are correct it is the PCN number that is quoted at the back.

OK, I will only log in once I have everything ready, any other nasty surprises like filesize limits to be aware of?

Not that I know of, and I would remove the signage paragraph if you have no photos.

Do you have the link to the byelaws that the Parking Prankster has blogged about before? You would need to show the IAS 'patronising master of smarm' person, the actual byelaws and proof they are still current whch has been blogged about.

So Im just trying to submit this appeal and...

Ive upload the evidence ok but the box to enter the appeal is limited to only 1000 words and furthermore it prevents you from copy and pasting into it!

How do people normally get around this? Can I just upload the appeal as a PDF and say see attachment in the box?

    Is that acceptable?

Just reading Toilet Duck's appeal to IAS preparation for submitting my own and note that the case of VCS v HMRC 2012 is quoted. However, are people aware that this decision was overturned in 2013 by the Court of Appeal?

The facts of that case can be differentiated from the JLA scenario though I imagine as VCS v HMRC involved motorists who had been issued with permits or a private car park (motorist accepted terms when choosing to park there after receiving a letter with terms & permit attached) and then parked in wrong place/at wrong time etc.

So just ignore me I guess! Sorry
