It's perfectly feasible to defeat VCS without paying anyone anything, and using the support on here.
I'm not able to comment on the website you mention.0 -
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

Is that because of the sentence in your footer?
I appreciate the help on here, I have initiated (but not defended) small claims court action before that was immediately settled. I would quite enjoy the challenge frankly.
Problem is, its in my wifes name, shes already giving me grief over it. The moment she receives a letter from a debt collection agency or court papers then I will shortly be receiving divorce proceedings.
Given VCS have left POPLA and the IAS is seen as a sham perhaps its £16 worth paying in my situation if they are legitimate?0 -

If you PM me, I'll explain why it may not be a good idea.0 -
Presume this is a copy and paste response to my complaint to Liverpool Airport asking them to cancel the charge:
Hello Mr XXXXXX
Thank you for contacting Liverpool John Lennon Airport
Drivers are warned not to stop on the approach road at Liverpool John Lennon Airport (JLA) and other surrounding access roads or they could face a charge of up to £100.
A ‘Red Route’ no stopping zone has already been introduced on the Airport approach road and the dedicated bus access route, due to growing congestion caused by vehicles stopping and blocking lanes. The subsequent congestion has created safety risks for other motorists and potential costly delays for emergency vehicles responding to an incident at the Airport.
Unfortunately a number of vehicles continue to ignore the restrictions in place, causing congestion problems for the Airport.
A vehicle with on board mobile CCTV and Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) equipment monitor these roads. Evidence will be taken of any vehicles that stop on the red route with a charge of up to £100 subsequently issued to vehicle owners.
Vehicle Control Services provide this service on behalf of the Airport.
Drivers accessing JLA are requested to either use the clearly signposted official airport car parks or the drop off/pick up area.
High profile signage advising drivers of the consequences of not complying with the highway restrictions have been installed throughout the relevant areas.
We do advise drivers that if they wish to appeal the PCN to do so directly with Vehicle Control Services

Reply to Liverpool Airport and ask them why they are lying. It's nothing to do with congestion, but everything to do with their own greed in forcing people to pay just for a 20 second drop-off. Ask them how much VCS pay them to operate their scam. I wonder if they'd reply - because VCS DO pay them and quite a bit of money, too.0

Ive sent a reply along those lines. In my experience of complaining though it simply escalates to copy and paste letter #2 when you respond to the first one.0 -
Well clearly Abigail Titley has not read the decision of the IAS in the case of VCS v srs1311 where you are allowed to stop and park on a red route for a fee of £100.00.0
