I'm finding all this waiting very frustrating.... I've just looked on The House of Lords section of the Parliament website and there are no details of their judgement.
I moved here from Zimbabwe (Rhodesia) in 1980. I went to Borrowdale Primary School.

There is no judgement date as yet but you are looking at the wrong site. http://www.supremecourt.gov.uk/

House of Lords site is no longer relevant since October 2009 when the new UK Supreme Court opened. The waiting will continue since the Law Lords are not deciding on the fairness of charges yet. They are only deciding if the charges are assessable for fairness under UTCCR 1999.

  • Face it, we're not going to get our charges back. Not now, not next year, not the year after, not ever.

They will not submit findings before Christmas ! They would not want to miss their Christmas bonuses !

lol, I have never given up hope until the judiciary say otherwise. so far 4 judges have said the charges are assessable so roll on the remaining 5 to say the same.

Who are you referring to with regards to Christmas bonuses?
We are waiting for the Law Lords to give their judgement plus there will be no refunds this side of Christmas since they are not considering if the charges are fair or unfair, only if the terms under which the charges are taken can be assessed for fairness under UTCCR 1999/

To be honest, i've been fighting for my bank charges to be paid back for a while now, and I'm at the point you are where I feel that somehow they will get away with it.
  • I think everybody should just calm down a bit. No one knows how the law lords will rule. The process is taking along time, but eventually we will know one way or the other. We should remain positive and just wait and see what the outcome is.
