The medical was on the 8th of August, it went ok i think! We havent heard anything and we are still getting money through so im guessing no news is good news or could it still all go horribly wrong?0

it can vary how long it takes to receive any news after your medical. Mine only took a week but it can take much longer. Between sending in my IB50 and getting a medcial date it was almost 5 months!Weight Loss - 102lb0

the doctor i had at a home visit sat there for 20 mins asked questions and when i went to appeal his answers greatly differed from the ones id given
seems to me they ask a question then just write down what they want anyway,i went from a high pass rate down to 3 points due to his answers ,i got 9 back at the appeal
that was just 4 month ago and guess what arrived on saturday ,yup another brown envelope containing the dreaded IB50

The vast majority of EMP's are honest and try to give a fair report.
Some are not, and that's why we have the appeals service, which puts right anything that went wrong.
