  • Oh, I forgot to mention, I don't how but I've said yes to doing the race for life

It's for a good cause but I'm so unfit! Well I have been saying I want to get healthier this year, motivation right there!

I'll have to start doing a few of these :j :T

  • Yay to race for life. My mum does it every year. She has had breast cancer 4 times (fighting bouts 3+4 now) as well as two other cancers so she does it to give back. She was going to shave her head to raise money for the cancer trust again but she is going to give it to a local family who have had a real amount to deal with, one of their kids has Cystic Fibrosis and the NHS cut his funding, so the locals raised £50,000 in 3 months to pay for it themselves! :D you're doing a GREAT thing for a FAB cause. SO well done you! I wish I could do it but I couldn't even walk it right now..

Star jumps and clapping are all the exercise that Jelly seems to need ;) LOL

I avoid meal planning like a skilled ninja. *snaps fingers and disappears at the mention of it*ninja-hide-smiley-face.gif

  • :hello: Harry'sMummy welcome :D

Thanks for the support re Race for Life, I've started eating a bit more healthily this week but no actual exercise, I was thinking I might start off a bit lightly by walking around the school field on my lunch break :rotfl:

:j I've actually done the meal plan for the week, I did it yesterday but didn't get on here, and a couple of days for next week started too :D

:A I've managed 4 NSD in a row, how cool is that?! I thought I was going to have to spend one day at the weekend but I didn't, yay! Run ended today as I had to send an Eb@y item and get petrol but still very pleased :T

:D Mr T have sent me an e voucher for £12 as I trialled the delivery saver and would have saved more if I hadn't signed up for it. Well done Mr T :T

I haven't been on here much the last couple of days, been watching tv!

Hope everyone's week is going ok, I'll pop in and check on everyone properly tomorrow xxx

  • :j I'm up to 14 NSD so far best is 4 in a row :)

Feel like I've had a fairly productive MSE week :D
    • energy swap so should get £30 cash back after a few months
    • managed to get 0% card to help battle the nasty mega % card
    • completed the meal plan for next week, think I'm getting good at this ~ felt like I wanted to plan for another couple of weeks too, must be some of the MSE peeps rubbing off on me!
    • managed some NSD
Nothing seems to be selling on Eb@y this week, so I need to have another rummage around.

As DS is now back home we changed the house rules a bit and so far (it's only been a week) it seems to be going well, my favourite bit is me insisting that everyone takes a turn cooking, I hate cooking! That's why the meal planning had been so important this week so everyone knows what they're doing :D

    Plans for the weekend
    • washing
    • de clutter/rummage for Eb@y sale
    • purchase zips for crafting purposes
    • have a go at meal planning for all of February
    • nephews first birthday tea - OH will sort gift as it's his side of the family!

Hope everyone has a great weekend :)

  • Oh my look at you with meal planning - I feel my ninja side coming on again... I really must do it tomorrow. I only do a week at a time but am going to do a mammoth batch cook of various soups. Reminds me, need to put the pulses in water overnight!!

Well done you for your plans on the weekend. I will join you on some ;) xx

Ah, KD - here you are!!

Just caught up on your diary and note some similarities between us....
I have just started meal planning (again!) - but just write a list of 6 meal options on the fridge rather than having a fixed meal on a certain day as OH sometimes doesn't "fancy" what is planned. It's easier to get him to choose from the list the night before.
I see you had car troubles on your way to Kent... that's where I am!
The number of NSD's is on the up.
This year is the year that Nats starts running! Starting today! My friend has signed up to a race for life and doesn't run, so we are starting together... my aim is to do a 'major series' in October. I do like a challenge!!

Right, I am at work - so I had better do some work! Great you found me - I'll pop back soon!

    Nats x
    start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

I love a good plan - it may not work.... but I love a good plan!

    Update on weekend stuff.

I sold two of my home made bags, which is a bit of a surprise as I didn't think they were going to sell, feel a bit disappointed that they only went for 99p but hey ho!

    Washing is in progress!
Have yet to de clutter/rummage ~ I must get on and do this!
I haven't bought any zips but I have bought a book for crafting purposes, I am bidding on some zips though.
Meal planning ~ this is going ok, I've already got this coming week planned, did that last week. I've planned the first two weeks of Feb, I'm thinking a two or three week rolling plan will work for us.
Nephews tea party was good, he loved the gift OH got for him :)

Right washing machine has just finished a load so I'm off to refill it and then I'm going for a rummage, might attack the book shelf and see what Ziff will bring me.

    Happy Sunday everyone :)

Great news on the bag sales - every penny counts!
Yaay for meal planning - it definitely cuts costs! (I need to do mine for this week too!)

Happy and productive Sunday (I'm off to empty washing machine too - our lives are so rock and roll!):rotfl:
