:j we made it home in the car :j thank goodness!
It's been another spendy day though, filled the car up for the journey home and have got plenty of petrol left so I won't need to put any in next week.
Got some bits from Asd@, I quite like shopping there but it's a bit far usually but passed on the way back home, they do home delivery but refuse to use that service with them again after they decided not to deliver.
Plans for tomorrow: update
Return home with my car ~ done
Check freezer and cupboards create a meal planner for the week, possibly for two weeks ~ feeling lazy so have only organised Monday and Tuesday which for me is progress! :rotfl:
List some bits on eb@y ~ off to start this in a mo
I'm aiming for 5 NSD this week - with plenty of petrol and food in cupboard and freezer I think this is doable
First day of work for this year tomorrow so also need to go and sort my clothes out.new challenge?£1 a day for Christmas 2024 £367 / £366 ~Got married 24/05/19 ~ Credit CardDFW Nerd #1155 ~LBM 25/2/09 ~ Debt at highest £8,037.35 ~ £00 -
Yessssssss for the car. I am so so happy for you!!
to think, you were thinking it might be scrapped and it was just a blocked pipe. Positive Mental Attitude. I've got the Mental bit alright
Bleh you just reminded me I need to iron my work clothes for Weds. Could be worse, it could be tomorrow.
Hope your first day back goes well!! xx

I think my tv is broken, there's football on :rotfl:
I've had a NSD so that is 2 so far for this month :T
I've listed 3 dresses on Eb@y, need to look to see what else I can put on. I've got some handmade bags that I could put on, but not sure there is a market for them but if I don't try, I'll never know.
First day back at school/work was good. It was school dinner today as it was an inset, we only get a school dinner if it's inset or a special occasion. New head teacher/boss, seems alright let us go early as all the teaching staff had finished the inset.
Let OH choose which meal we were having tonight and we'll have the other option tomorrow, might have to have a rummage in the freezer in a mo because the football is on and then can sort the meals out for the rest of the week.
Not much else going on today, might have an early night though I'm shattered!new challenge?£1 a day for Christmas 2024 £367 / £366 ~Got married 24/05/19 ~ Credit CardDFW Nerd #1155 ~LBM 25/2/09 ~ Debt at highest £8,037.35 ~ £00 -

Yay to putting money away! Well done you!
Have already spent a third of my grocery budget this month but hoping to do a lot with what I've got in. Its the eff it moments that cost me money, when I can't be bothered. Lots of scotch broth on standby in the freezer for those times
Nice you got off work earlythe real trouble starts tomorrow!! Good luck!!

NSD up to 3 so far this month, Mon & Tue both but yesterday I had to get some cereal for me and OH. I also bought a calendar which was marked at half price so I thought I was going to pay £1.50 but actually went through the till at 75p :T
I have got a bid on one of my three items on Eb@y :j
Planning on having NSD today, so I'll report back later and catch up on a couple of diaries xxxnew challenge?£1 a day for Christmas 2024 £367 / £366 ~Got married 24/05/19 ~ Credit CardDFW Nerd #1155 ~LBM 25/2/09 ~ Debt at highest £8,037.35 ~ £00 -
Not much in the way of MSE day today, but I have had another NSD which means I've managed 4 this week, I will be spending tomorrow as I need to get a gift for my niece as it's her 18th, not planning on spending on Sunday, if that goes to plan I will have achieved my 5 NSD this week
Successfully closed my JustF@b account and got the charge back :j so I will be putting that money towards the CC.
I was trying to use the MSE energy club but couldn't get it to load on my Kindle, does anyone else have problems when using other tablet devices? I'll have to wait until next week at work to see if I can have a sneaky MSE moment at my desk. My blue price promise ends in Feb so thought I would have a look and do a bit of comparing.
I have still only got bids on 1 item on Eb@y so far up to £1.04! I'll have to be good and list some other items on Sunday or I'm not going to get anywhere near the target which is going to go towards the CC.new challenge?£1 a day for Christmas 2024 £367 / £366 ~Got married 24/05/19 ~ Credit CardDFW Nerd #1155 ~LBM 25/2/09 ~ Debt at highest £8,037.35 ~ £00 -
