Hey you! I have just squeezed another £20.09 into my EF. I love it!! Well done you
How has your week been? Did you do anything nice today? This weather is horrible so have stayed indoors as I couldn't push the pram and Jelly would blow away if we walked. She is a midget :rotfl:
Ref tablet MSe... I couldn't get anything to work. It uses things that aren't compatible or installed on phones and tablets and they have no plans for a more mobile tablet friendly version which is a pain. I can't even access the end of my own diary on my mobile.
Hugshappy weekend! x

Hey Lilty
Had a fairly good week, new Head Teacher seems nice enough, he said we could finish early on Fridays, it's going to take a bit of getting used to as we've always had to stay until 5, me and my two colleagues decided that we'd pack up our desks at 4:30 and sit and have a cuppa and a chat!
Thanks for the info about the tablet, I'll definitely have to have a look at work.
OH and I went shopping yesterday, he exchanged a jumper his parents got him for Christmas for a shirt and tie which he will need to wear when he starts work at the same place as me.
We chose a gift for my niece together so that was nicewe were going to have lunch in W1mpy, we sat at a table looked at the price of a burger on it's own and decided to go to Gregz and had a pasty while window shopping :T
I've had another NSD today so that's 6 so far which is great I will need to put petrol in the car so that's going to be Monday or Tuesday oh and also will have to post an Eb@y sale so will do that on the same day as the petrol. I've got eight things on Eb@y, but only two will sell at the moment, one ends tonight and the other I only listed yesterday.
I've made an extra payment to the CCthe Christmas and Emergency funds transfer automatically tomorrow but I will also see if I can do a Tilly tidy and add them as well

Hey there! So happy to hear that your car is better now, they seem like stressful to own!
Well done with your savings0 -
Well done to OH on his exchange. I always feel too embarrassed to do that sort of thing but I really should sometimes. The stuff I get given is neither use nor ornament!
Have just seen a pic of my friends car. He hasn't been driving very long and has totalled it. He wasn't a great driver, not someone I would get in a car with anyway. He complained about another driver knocking his wing mirror off within a week of passing his test.. a rant about how they were in the middle of the road... after seeing him park 70cm from the keep and think it was perfect parking, I think his spacial awareness is such that it was likely his problem. But this time he was overtaking a lorry, which was driving through a huge puddle from the torrential rain... he hit the tidal wave from the lorry and lost it, spun the car a few times... Luckily he has a slight whiplash, but other than that he is fine. The car meanwhile looks like it has been eaten up and spat out by a swamp monster.
So in true MSE fashion, he has leased a car for 3 years instead at a cost of £350 a month. In 3 years time he will have to give the car back.. is he mad?!!?!
Well done you on adding to the savings. And the NSD's. The months I rack them up are the ones I keep within my grocery budget
Today I found £5 roadkill :j so exciting!!

 surely he would have been better getting a finance deal at that price if he's got to give the car back, after 3 years he could own the car!
Only managed 2 NSD this week, I might manage one more over the weekend which is a bit disappointing
I've got a few items listed on Eb@y but at the moment only one is going to sell. I start all my listings at 99p the item selling is a small mug, it's had 7 bids and up to a fiver, crazy!
Yesterday I managed to get on the MSE energy club and have swapped, so I'll get cheaper gas and electricity and £30 cash back :T
Plans for this weekend are:
1. I need to sort out my sewing bits into the large walkin cupboard in the bedroom - I've been using DS room as he went to stay with my mum for a bit but has now decided to come home he needs his bedroom back :rotfl:
2. Make a meal plan for at least a week - so far only managed to plan about 2 days at a time
3. Find some more items to list on Eb@y - should find a few bits from moving sewing stuff around
I need to update my signature with my NSD, emergency and Christmas funds so need to nip off to check balances

Am awful at meal planning. I do anything to put it off... Lol
Friend finally saw sense and has got a car on finance. At least he will own it in the end! He has no sense with money. Burned through a £15,000 inheritance with nothing to show for it but a weight problem and a lot of KFC containers. Now has a good job, could save £900 a month... spends it on carp. One day he will grow up. Probably.
Lol at son refusing to come home... sort your sewing stuffor don't depending on if you like the peace!!! Hahahaha
Happy weekend!! x

Update on jobs for the weekend:
1. Sorted out the cupboard, organised my sewing bits and managed to get rid of a three of boxes by putting my zips, purse frames and ribbons into a box that had three compartments taking up less space :T all fabric neatly folded and the cupboard is looking tidy and organised :j
2. Haven't actually done the meal plan yetbut have ventured to the shed and listed everything in the freezer :T I must sit down and make the meal plan tomorrow
3. I did find a couple of bits to list on Eb@y, and have listed said items :j the item I had selling finished at £9! Both me and OH gobsmacked :rotfl:
Managed another NSD today so I think I've had a pretty productive day :A just need to do that meal plan :rotfl:new challenge?£1 a day for Christmas 2024 £367 / £366 ~Got married 24/05/19 ~ Credit CardDFW Nerd #1155 ~LBM 25/2/09 ~ Debt at highest £8,037.35 ~ £00 -
