Not really sure why I'm posting except to encourage myself.
Today didn't go exactly to plan; OH had bad stomach pains yesterday and didn't feel better today, so didn't go to work. This is unheard of for him, so I was quite worried, which made me do everything a bit slower as I checked up on him and made tea etc - not that he is a complainer.
Anyway, I did do gym class, called in at C0 0p on the way home as no time to get to Mr T. It is quite a small shop, so although I got a few bits, I didn't get all the ingredients for the Xmas pud so that will have to be postponed.
I did manage to post nearly all the remaining Xmas cards including one I'd forgotten in the 'overseas' last week as it is France! Only 1 or 2 remain to be posted, and those are ones I need to hunt around for addresses.
I did the assessment and have scored it up.
Sent a few emails.
Did a bit of tidying.
So not really as much as I'd hoped, but not too bad. OH unlikely to be working tomorrow, so fear it may slow me down again - I don't know why, but I just can't get so motivated when he is around.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -

Plus I spent an hour with my poorly friend and about half an hour on the phone to another friend. So not a bad day's work, really.
Just about to remake our bed with fresh sheets so that we can fall into it! Good night, all....0 -

I have a broom up my behind.. I am about briefly now and again but I am absolutely swamped with appointments and cats and children and Christmas looming so I'm going to be here in spirit but in body I am that fuzzy blur that keeps whizzing by.. cards WILL be written when I find 5 minutes and I am still creating on the Christmas front.. well, back actually.. MOL's cardy needs about 20 more rows on the back then I can do sleeves.. I hate doing sleeves so vowed to never leave them until last.. the hard slog bit is nearly done with only one rectifiable error so I'm doing ok! I need to finish Erins cardy.. it needs sleeves! and then get my mother a scarf done and finish DD3's wrist warmers.. I have a hat and scarf to finish too.. and a huge bag of sewing projects for the girls and for gifts.. I need OH to take the girls out for a bit! .. his mother is coming on Friday so I may banish them to the park for an hour so I can get on!
Anyway.. I'm alive.. though Squeak is poorly with a nasty cold and has her nativity tomorrow and I don't know if she will be well enough to go, she's been laid on the sofa since she got home today!
Peter Pusscat is settling in .. he washed himself today and ventured out of the room all the way into the hallway!
Tomorrow I have 5 huge piles of laundry to fold and loads more to do a DLA form to fill out and Squeaks nativity at 1:45.. I need to grovel to DD1 see if she will watch at least 1 of the monsters.
Nest time in here.. I haven't been able to stay awake for the last few days.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
I think all of my flying will have to be done in lanic mode on Friday (again!). I'm working Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday nights from 7- 7.30. Gym straight after work, then walking pooch. Then get up and try to get on. Can't do anything upstairs unless someone is with the dog but she is being a turd at the moment and keeps biting everyone so I can't leave DS alone with her. Oddly enough, DD seems to be the dog whisperer
Gym in the morning, might manage to get a wash load on before bed in the afternoon. In fact, will have to so that my gym kit is dry in time to go back to work in the evening.
Cubs on Thursday so may get some Christmas gifts wrapped in the evening. Not sure though as need floor space to do it and have none in my bedroom!Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
Morning All
I didn't do anything else yesterday as after I'd finished work I went to the PO and to Iceland and then it was time to get ready to go out!
So far this morning I've put the WM on and opened my prezzies. I'm going to Morrisons after work tonight then may be going out for tea so not a lot will get done tonight either.
Have a good day all

Paid stuff this morning, bit more paid stuff at home then kitchen this aft. Need to deal with the sticky bit on the kitchen floor.
In fact I had better move myself because we need to be off early this morning, have to drop DS1 off for his outdoor ed - if he makes it there!
Will catch up later.0 -
Had a good day in town with DD yesterday. I do feel for her as she has problems finding clothes to fit. I try to gently encourage her to eat healthily etc. I worry about her health. She did say that after New Year she will start. I know she has been trying so keeping fingers crossed. Was pleased I had made a chilli in the morning to come home to.
Just the dailies today as I'm at my voluntary job. It's our Xmas lunch so looking forward to that. Tonight I need to do some more wrapping and cards.
Think I might get up now and nip down to Mr A as I need some cat food and a few other bits.
Mrs MP Glad to hear your Dad is home.
Dusty Hugs for you and your friend.

Morning all
Another who did not fly yesterday apart from laundry. We need to remember all that flying we have done in the past will see us through and we will get back on track once we have the time.
Pilates, governor meeting and builder coming around today. I also need at least an hour on the pc for governing and manorial rights work, plus I need to get street party letter written and sent to DH to print. Hum a lot of my time goes to various needs outside of my family I see.
