Oh thanks mamaninie I'll try a different brand. I do check he's pointing south ;) but there is every chance he *cof* rearranges himself once in bed :rotfl: I've told him to get drinking as he's not having anything after 5 other than the odd sip.

We've had my dad visiting, which overlapped slightly with my mum  and her 4 week old baby (well, not hers biologically, you know ;)) so DD has had a lovely time holding the wee one and helping give his milk.

We also had a HH outdoors, we've brought the play kitchen in from the playhouse and given everything a wipe down, so the cafe is back in full swing. I've swept the playhouse floor and wiped down and the kiddies had a bit of time on their bikes out front. But it's bitterly cold so they didn't need to be asked twice about coming back in!

We've now got H@rry P0tter on ITV and some chicken cooking for wraps. May do popcorn after that the elves brought.

Swept LR (again), need to make DS bed, want also to dunk them in the bath tonight, depending on what time the dancing is on ;) Also need to sort some paid stuff and tidy spare room for MIL tomorrow night, and pack...

    Agree Bossy it is cold.

Eucalyptus tree pruned and used as decoration by the front door so more lights put up outside.

    Holly cut for wreaths tomorrow.

Going to put the lights on the tree next and investigate the christmas dec boxes for what I want up this year.

Up early this morning and went to Mr A. I love going when it's quiet.

Each room has had a S&S and have done a load of washing.

All presents wrapped now and cards mostly done. Just got the neighbours to do. Just need to get bags to put the presents in.

Aww hugs mummyroys hope you're feeling better soon.

Just watching the dancing although I missed the first half an hour with kids bedtime and acting up etc. they are all settled in clean beds now, both been dunked in the bath and hair washed.

LR tidied of most of the carp and a good sweeping, then works lappy out. One email checked and ticked, one meeting cancelled (yaay) and one left to finish on Tuesday. Also forwarded my travel emails to my personal email so I can print what I need tomorrow.

DW set going too and a mini kitchen tidy. Ooh I've been busy!

I'm done now though, been awake too long.

  • Hi all

mummyroys. Perhaps we should have a little corner where people can come to and let off steam when all the Christmas stuff just gets too much. Hugs.

The boys are both home. DS1 turned down my hm lasagne for kebab meat and chips. Shudder. OH did one taxi run and I did the other in the opposite direction. Its nice when they go out with their mates but I get a bit twitchy when it gets dark and they are not home. What am I going to be like when they start going to the pub??

I am done for today, will deal with the ironing tomorrow. The house feels cold even with the fire lit and the heating on so I am about to disappear under a big fleecy blanket.

Mummyroy, you have to take care fr yourself so you cannot go to Devon, that is sad but unavoidable. Wishing you well soon.

Tree up, Living room decs up. Ironing done, not much.

On the sofa for the evening now.

Off to bed. Really tired as no sleep after my night but I got loads done. Managed about 8 wash loads too :). DS still awake and tidying his bedroom. Have said it's to be done today or no party. Really fed up of his lack of enthusiasm for anything at present - grr!

Will throw the Hoover round tomorrow (upstairs and hallway) and clean the windows downstairs. Decorations are up- DS happy to share tree and birthday cards this year.
    Anyway, rambling. Night all xx
