Very funny. but I have never claimed to be mechanically competent. I was just confused because I never saw any brake discs or pads on the Yaris, but later realised it uses drum brakes.0 -
So what happened to the M3?
The Integra will be capable of keeping up with traffic, and will handle fine within the confines of safe road driving. Mechanically it should be pretty reliable too if you look after it.
It's just a step down from an M3 spec wise though.
M3 is on lease and will be given back to the dealer by mid January. It obviously has much more torque than the Integra at low revs so I just hope I wouldn't feel fustrated when driving the Integra on urban roads.0 -

Yes sonny but you're not one of them. I know plenty about performance cars and have spent quite a bit of time in a DC5 as it happens but there's no point in sharing any knowledge with the likes of you.
Fortunately, most long-standing forum members will treat this thread and any more you make with the contempt they deserve.0 -

what happens in a year?0 -
Buy an E39 M5 then, plenty of grunt hence nicknamed 'the beast' in their day.
Since I sold mine 4 years ago they've gone up in price0 -

What car?
Why not just get the other car?
You're going to lose money on any car you only keep a year, unless you get it dirt cheap0 -

I do respect the E39 M5 (a classic) but I want to experience something different to the BMW M cars.
I'm looking for something even more 'raw' than the M. The Honda Integra caught my attention as its exclusive, has the bucket racing seats, light weight a good rep on its driving dynamics.0 -
Ah ok, could fit antilag to the Integra then.0

That's necessarily true. Some cars have actually gone UP in price like the Honda s2000, Toyota Supras and like Justin said, the e39 m5.
I have kept an eye on the prices of Integras over the last couple years and it appears that it actually has not gone down in value at all0
