  • Manchester flight to LV today was pretty uneventful (bit bumpy in places).
Customs cleared in about 20 minutes.
Staying 2 nights in Luxor. Seems fine so far.
The only bad element is I started with cold yesterday, which will probably kick in my asthma.

It's not Champage they serve, almost everywhere except for the very top end places serve it. It's sparkling wine from California, and for some reason they have been allowed to get away with calling it Champagne, when it would be better described as battery acid.

It is champagne at the Sterling Brunch though? Perrier Jouet Grand Brut according to their website and reviews

I stand corrected, fill your boots then.
    BTW I'm home.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
  • Hi
I am interested in buying a groupon voucher on Groupon Las Vegas.
It is asking for a billing address and it only gives you an option of US or Canada and not let me change to UK.

How have people got round this ? would it work if I put in my Hotel address as billing address ?

I'd agree with most California 'sparkling' to be dodgy, but there are a few good ones in there - the Napa Valley Taittinger (Domaine Carneros), Mumm and Domaine Chandon sparklings are all very good in my opinion :) definitely worth a stop by the vineyards too if you're passing by and into the fizzy stuff!

I had this problem yesterday. I got round it by putting in hotel address in Vegas and then putting in Alabama as that was the only state I could get to work!! It went through ok

The pound dollar prediction is not good due to the election. It looks like it may not improve for some time. $1.45 pickup in London today :-(

Isn't this covered in the sticky on page 1 ? I'm sure it used to be.
