  • Earl of Sandwiches : Getting a free Cannonball (thanks to whoever posted the link) was a perfect meal the day we landed.

MC : The room we had was just a standard room, and the noise level was not acceptable.

Ballys : Not impressed with the new entrance.

Luxor pool : Only sat about an hour, but seemed nice enough. Personal preference, but I prefer / love a bit of greenery when sunbathing rather than concrete.

Luxor bus stop : We were going to South Outlet and there was no machine to buy a ticket. Not sure if you can buy on the bus (as there appeared to be a machine), but the poster on the stand said you needed a ticket before boarding. We walked up to the stop at Excel bur.

Harmon : Not the same without it there.

We are currently in San Francisco and are loving it here. I had no interest in visiting Alcatraz, but I absolutely loved it.

Got my best ever offer through from Cosmo. Interestingly my last offer was the worst I'd ever received. Testing the water?

    5 Comp Nights.
    $250 Slot Play
    $50 Dining Credit

All my friends have already booked and are jam packed in to one of the big Elara Hilton suites. I'd love to join them and still might if this offer sticks around.

The missus and I love the Cosmo, probably because we had a great deal there in 2012 and $30 did the trick for an upgrade. We were back in 2013, but last year and again this, the prices seem to have rocketed - regularly the most expensive option on my searches - anyone else seeing the same thing?

Now that hotel nights have been limited to 1 reward per myvegas account.
I assume it's ok to have one night through my account, and one night through my wife's...then add the together.
Dates during our October stay are out,not available at many hotels for our stay, but Monte Carlo and Luxor are available. Not great options, but can't complain for free...bar the dreaded resort fee.
Also,we have 4 nights to fill,so if we get 2 nights through myvegas, can you just pay for another two there and then.Or will I need to make a separate 2 night booking wherever I find the best deal.

I suspect even if you *can* you'd get a better deal through someone like smartervegas

also, cosmo isn't MGM property. In my experience easier to gets deals with Caesars. But check back on your TR account regularly. I sometimes find the dates they offer me a free room in the same hotel varies so could possibly get ALL your weekday stays free.

ye sorry i should have said i know that cosmo isn't a mgm property.I just sorta assumed that most hotels in vegas would do the same sorta deals(for there own hotels/properties),

and thanks to StuieUK34 for our advice,I sorta kinda assumed it boils down to money(not a dig at you but the casinos !)Is there a number we would need to spend/gamble? are we talking $5,000 plus sorta thing?
thanx again both for your advice though
