Can't you only claim rewards 3-5 times during a 30 day period now?

Yes, I think your right. It's just that I need quite a few more LP's to get anywhere need the buffets and activities I need :D I have my eye on a buffet for 2, the secret garden and a breakfast buffet.

Hi, I joined myvegas friends and follow jame hite,as he always has chips on his facebook page. I'll havea look at that site you mention :T I started playing last month and only have 34k in LP lol :rotfl: but i'm determined to be dripping in them come redemption time :D When do you go :) I'm not sure whether to do 15 nights purely Vegas or a bit of LA. We did this last time, but the thought of losing Vegas time and I don't even gamble :rotfl: is not a nice thought, lol.

    Hi
the site i surgessted has james hite on it and he offers most of the chips, there is just a page on it where people can help others with 250+ chips per link(james hite does most of them it seems) and thought it may help you.

I think we've had a city corner, executive corner, Vdara suite, once we booked a deluxe suite with the intention of upgrading at check in and got a Vdara suite (for the washer dryer :D)
we booked a vdara suite and got upgraded to a corner one. Missed the extra loo but liked the overall wrap around windows.
It was bigger than our London flat! And whilst the kitchen was a tad useless (i wasn't going to cook), we did use the washer dryer as it was half way through our LA/Vegas/LA 2 weeks.

Only downside was lack of wardrobe in the bedroom, it was in the bathroom so could not dress if someone was using it (and remembering to keep closing both bathroom doors!)

We've booked our flights for May next year but we might not be able to go then. They're through Thomas Cook and, whilst if you cancel the flights, you don't get a refund at all, you can change them for an admin fee.

We don't mind paying the admin fee, but does anybody know how flexible they are with changing dates? Could we move them two months further on, or three, or four? We're aware we'd have to pay the difference if the flights are more expensive than the ones we have.

just after arrival they delivered a platter of hand made chocolates chocolates to my room, with a card, even the platter was made of chocolate, it was a nice touch

Just noticed today that 'WestJet' are pushing half decent 1-stop fares to Vegas next year...
Doing my quick check, a few prices of around £545 in June appeared, flying from Gatwick to Vegas (16hrs), with a change-over in Canada (Calgary, Edmonten, Vancouver, etc).....

Don't know anything about the airline, other than there Canadian... seasonal flights for next year it seems... Handy to know if your booking a flight anyway :)

I think all WestJet flights go through their hub. Wouldn't be an issue if you can the second half of the flight on the same day, when checking for my journey i wasn't able to do this.
    They are very cheap though!

Hi everyone, long time reader, first time poster.

Me and my other half are travelling out to Vegas on the 19th November for a week, I think we got a good deal (Flights + 7 nights at The Bellagio for ~£750pp) and, as this will be the first time I've traveled to Vegas (or America for that matter), I have a few questions.

    1) The direct Manchester flights stops as of the end of October so we are flying from Manchester to Atlanta then Atlanta to Vegas - the layover time is 90 minutes. I had naively assumed that the transfer would be similar to somewhere like Schipol, were you disembark airside and then just wander to your next gate, in which case 90 minutes is more than enough. However, from talking to some other people, it seems like this might not be the case - where all the border control checks etc are done when first landing in America (i.e. Atlanta in my case) - meaning 90 minutes might be a bit tight? Any advice / guidance on what the procedure is would be greatly appreciated.

    2) We have both applied for and been accepted for the ESTA - my only question around this is whether it is linked to my passport number? I can't find anywhere on the Advanced Passenger Information to input it therefore am just working on the assumption that when my passport gets swiped at immigration, it will flash up as linked to an approved ESTA?

    3) We're looking at pre-booking a Helicopter Tour before we leave and have found a couple of tours with Papillon that we like the look of - does anyone have any experience of them as to whether they are a) reputable and b) good quality tours/worth the money?

    4) Wondering on what the general guidance is with regards to cash vs currency card? I'm airing towards a FairFX card but will the ATM's out there take a cut whenever I withdraw?

Any help appreciated - can't wait!!

Yes, that's correct. Atlanta will be your "port of entry" (i.e. airport where you enter the USA) where you go through the dreaded US immigration. In addition you'll probably have to transfer to a different terminal. So 90 minutes is far too short a time.

If both flights are on the same ticket, then the airline will put you on later flight if you miss the second flight, and even put you up overnight if there's no available flight that day.

But if the flights are on separate tickets then you lose your money if you miss the second flight for any reason and you have to sort out the situation yourself. Nasty.

Thanks - it's all on one ticket with Virgin (and ergo Delta) so I'm covered in that instance. Not horrendously worried as there are another couple of Delta flights later on in the same day. Do you think it's worth trying to change the ticket beforehand?
