As for Layover time (Atlanta) , 2 years ago, we stopped at Philly, with connecting flight, and layover time was 90 minutes...
Put it this way, we had enough time to get my philly cheesesteak and still get to the gate.... (and that included collecting our bags in Philly and taking them to the transfer belt thing,,,)

Stuie, when in July next year are you going out? We fly out on 6th or 9th whichever is the Friday for 6 nights staying in the Encore Wynn. So excited and its still ages away!

    3) We're looking at pre-booking a Helicopter Tour before we leave and have found a couple of tours with Papillon that we like the look of - does anyone have any experience of them as to whether they are a) reputable and b) good quality tours/worth the money?

we used them and it was good - tip would be to book for early in the holiday as often its cancelled due to bad weather so gives yourself some room for it to be moved to another day later in the trip.

We used Papillon too, no problem here. They wanted to cancel our trip and move us to a different day but we couldn't so they "upgraded" us and picked us up in a limo. Not sure what the upgrade was apart from the limo (maybe lunch in the canyon but I think that was included in the trip we booked.)

Anyway I waffle on, point being, they seemed a decent company to me. Pilot was pretty cool and funny and we had a good trip. Would recommend.

Hi everyone, long time reader, first time poster.

Me and my other half are travelling out to Vegas on the 19th November for a week, I think we got a good deal (Flights + 7 nights at The Bellagio for ~£750pp) and, as this will be the first time I've traveled to Vegas (or America for that matter), I have a few questions.

    2) We have both applied for and been accepted for the ESTA - my only question around this is whether it is linked to my passport number? I can't find anywhere on the Advanced Passenger Information to input it therefore am just working on the assumption that when my passport gets swiped at immigration, it will flash up as linked to an approved ESTA?

Any help appreciated - can't wait!!

    Hi there
im sure you will enjoy vegas and the bellagio looks a fab hotel, you have the water fountains right outside, which are amazing!!
as someone above has said it seems to be linked to your passport, the esta that is.When my brother and i went to vegas last year(our first time to vegas and america) i was really worried about it and if we had done anything wrong(we were fine!)
If i recall we put in an email address and im sure we got some sorta confirmation (and confirmation number) , if maybe possiable to print this off to ease your mind? or atleast write down the cornfirmation number?
    hope that helps

I hope you dont mind my mentioning(and i dont wanna put you off/annoy you) but beware most of the hotels charge a daily resort fee, have you considered this? it variries between something like $18-$35 per day and adds up.
unsure if you have included this in your price or what not.

there is quite a big of info on the first page to things to do(a few free things to including the bellegio fountains) which may intrest you.I think you are a lil too late to do myvegas game.
when my brother and I went for the first time last year(we thought we d only do it once) we made a list of things to do which included
    1. the vegas sign
    2 the belleagio fountains
3,the stratstphere(my brother likes to take pictures)
4.check out most of the other hotels on the strip.
im sure there were more but thats all i can think of just now!
also im sure the bellegio is an mgm property so sign up for the players card(free) and well you never know you might be going some other times too,

have fun and any more questions im sure most of us will be happy to help:D
(im so jealous i have like 8 months to wait til vegas)

I agree with this. The 360* view is spectacular. Also they have a reasonable happy hour at the Level 107 lounge from 4pm to 6pm and a later one too (I forget the later time.)
