Yes we are using the 241 voucher. If not using it then there are much more permutations, connecting flights etc (You can only use the 241 on BA flights), same money but up to a stagering 470,000 Avios for 2 of you.

You should find that reward Clubworld seats are easier to come by now that there will be 3 flights a day going to Vegas

Right that is great to know.
I've just downgraded our Premium Plus card for my wife, as we used the 241 on a First redemption to New York in May 2016, but opened up a new one in my name to get the new increased intro bonus and start on the next 241.
On the BA explorer map I can't see more than a few F tickets but quite a lot of J - my wife is going to be very happy with this!

what sort of food do you like? :) steak? italian? anything? :)

Good point - that would probably help! :rotfl:

My wife won't eat fish, apart from that we're not fussy. Italian sounds good though if you can recommend one?

    Hi

Special visit to Vegas next August-wifes 60th

She wants a room with a Bellagio fountain view.

I know these are possible in the

    Bellagio
    Cosmopolitan (Terrace suite)

Both seem to price the same at the mo.

Anyone been in them to give a comparison?

Any other hotels with guaranteed views?

Seems Caesars Octavius Tower has views?

    Cheers.

I have stayed at both the Bellagio and Cosmopolitan. Rooms at the Bellagio seemed dated. Cosmo was amazing, that would be my preference.

    Thanks for the quick reply.

Did both rooms have Fountain views??

I seem to recall that upscale hotels remodel their rooms every four or five years, so dated a few years ago might be sleek and shiny now.

Sorry, can't help as we are not big downtown fans - keep meaning to give it another try but never been bothered about going out of our way... others should be able to point you in the right direction though hopefully.

I suspect the number of rooms may play a big factor in that business decision - I kind of agree tho :)

We stayed Bellagio Salone Suite Fountain View in 2008, and Cosmopolitan Fountain View balcony room (of some sort!) in 2012

Cosmo blitzed it in every way because the balcony wins for me, however you obviously get to see the fountains but you can't hear them (where as Bellagio will also play the music over the TV :) )

Good point, though I would have thought if you were outside on the balcony you could hear the music?

We couldn't - maybe it helps if the wind blows in the right direction? We were also around half way up.

I'm not sure if they've done something to 'draw' the crowds closer (speaker direction? volume perhaps?), but we've noticed you struggle to hear the music from over the road now (if you ever could?), even when there's no cars going past.

Maybe I'm just going deaf though :D

Never stood across the road when they were on so can't comment

    Thanks for the input
