Thanks for the reply. I have been a few times but many years ago, before MyVegas and Mlife.

My partner and I will both open Mlife accounts as we are both playing MyVegas slots. Can I add the Rewards to either Mlife account i.e. is there any association between Mlife and where the rewards originated? Is it just the "Purchaser Name" on the Reward?

You don't need an Mlife card until you claim the rewards at the Mlife desk in vegas.
Once you redeem a MV reward in the game you enter a name (and email) that name MUST match your Mlife account name. (even if you don't have a Mlife account yet.)
If you try to redeem a reward again and just put a different name in, their system will pick it up and your account would probably end up code zeroed. That means you lost everything on your own account.

As long as you put your real name in when you redeem the rewards in the game you will have no problem.
You both need your own facebook accounts.

    hi and no worries.
It seems baza52 has explained it, (better than i could to be fair!:D)
As baza52 has said you and your partner, need your OWN facebook accounts, because you each get 3 rewards each, so in theory you BOTH would recieve 6rewards in TOTAL.I think there have been cases of some *lucky* people whom have recieved 4 rewards each, but i think those are rare unless you *buy* chips. But when we played we did NOT,but i think its upto each person.Another thing to remeber is when you want to redeem a reward(or your partner does) you need some sorta i.d with you. Each time i redeemed a reward they put it on my Mlife card and when i went to the buffet (i redeemed 3 different buffets)I explained to the person at the buffet desk, handed over my Mlife card, she swiped it through the til and bingo,

As for playing slots, you can use your Mlife card to get points but you can also play the table games too and get points that way.where are you staying?
when we stayed at the mgm grand (last month) when either my brother and i got something from the wee shop downsatirs beside the fountain(used the shop 2-3 times) we always got asked if we had a Mlife card, and i think we got 5% discount(not much but still something).
    best of luck

    20% groupon discount this weekend
  • I've not posted on here for a while as we holidayed in Florida this year. Now though I'm looking to book next years Vegas holiday.

I'm looking at the Virgin Holiday website and the dates available to book only go up to March 2016 (I want May/June 2016) flying from Manchester VS85/VS86 but when I look on Virgin Atlantic website these dates are available to book.

Has something changed with VH that I've missed, I've always been able to book quite a long time in advance?

    Thanks for any help :embarasse

Groupon - in case anyone is interested, Groupon have a discount code deal on today. You log in to get your 'mystery code' up to 50%. Mine was for 20%.

I just ordered the $60 groupon for $35 (got it for $28 on the discount) for Dal Toro at Palazzo. Mixed reviews but when I looked up the food item I'm likely to choose (capellini pomodoro) people are saying it's really good. Groupon will cover a pasta each and a glass of wine or cocktail each I think, not bad for $28, and then the tip etc.

The 4th reward is usually unlocked with a $20 purchase of chips.
Its not guaranteed and is not written in the games TOS but that's what the members of my old group found ;)

Don't forget, if the reward has a "KEY" on the picture it requires a stay at an MGM property to use it.

I did a quick check on both sites - Virgin Atlantic would let me book up to 11 months in advance which is normal for airlines.
Why the holidays site would let me book even further I cannot tell you.
Unless you have to travel with Virgin direct (perhaps you have some flying points to spend) then it is probably 100% certain that you could save by booking different components seperately.
Try Expedia but go through Quidco (other cashback sites are available) - much cheaper than Virgin site and you get 5% cashback - ok you might pay 2% if paying by credit card but this should change this autumn.
If you can wait until the next BA/Virgin sale - set up an email with skyscanner to advise you of price reductions.

More recently, people are reporting that the $39 package get you the extra reward only 50-75% of the time. I'm not sure what other criteria they use to decide when you get 4 rewards.
I do know a couple of people that bought the $39 package recently, and they both got an extra reward.
