Just saw a deal for Dal Toro at Palazzo on Groupon. $35 for $60 worth of food and drinks. https://www.groupon.com/deals/dal-toro-ristorante-2
Not sure if it's a new deal of maybe I've just never noticed it. A 25% discount code would be handy right now.
Has anyone been at Dal Toro?0 -
Fly direct to LA, then drive... Can work cheaper than £650
Although you will need Coffee and ProPlus!
That's not flying direct then is it.? It would take you longer to do that than a flight to Chigago and then onto Vegas without the cost of car hire and gass.:shocked:The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -
The resort fees usually include 'printing of boarding passes' in the list of what it covers.
That said there are internet connected terminals close to the lobby in most if not all strip hotels.
Why would you want to avoid taking the tablet? Your hotel will probably have free wifi and you could search for deals and things to do / directions etc. as well as use Skype and the li,e for keeping in touch with back home. We take both iPhones both iPads and a my surface 3, wouldn't be without any of them. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. Not very tech savvy and wary of using unsecure wifi. Also we're going on holiday to get away from "back home" and although I can see using it for research/directions etc. if it's there I will be tempted to check emails and the like.0 -
Not been here for a while, hello. Couple of things is the ATM in casino royale still best place to get cash? I was getting 500 out at a time last year wonder if it would let you have more, Halifax card obviously. First trip in 2004 stayed at the Orleans and it seems to still draw us back. On their website you get 20% off by clicking offers, don't get stripped option. Also book very early, they take one night payment but you can cancel up to the day before and get cheaper rates(unlikely) although we once got an email couple of days before going for 19.95 a night and loads of freebies, payed us to stay there really, was the days when they didn't have resort fees, think you can not pay them if you don't have the coffee or use the Internet, I'm going to buy a $10 kettle to make a cup of tea, those in the room are bad anyway, can use the wifi downstairs. last year I had to contact my bank, awkward even in the UK used Skype about 1p a minute. Virgin direct last year for bit less than 600, way dearer this year so via NY for 522. Go 2nd July for10 nights.0

Not 100% certain, but I don't think you can decline the Orleans resort fee any longer. We couldn't in May.0

My plan is from here to Las Vegas then to LA and home
I viewed prices as a guide from British Airways one way to Las Vegas - £1579 and return is £643
Is the cheap option really:
Home > LV > LA > LV > Home?0 -
No, you need to search for a 'multi-destination' flight rather than two singles. You can fly into one airport and home from another. It's also known as 'open jaw' but websites tend to call it 'multi-destination'. They cost around the same as normal return flights for LA/Vegas.
Hope this helps.0 -
Cost it as two seperate tickets- kayak.co.uk using the multi city option put in eg LON LAS and the 2nd segment as LAX LON
then check https://www.iflyswa.com for a cheap flight between LAS and LAX (or Santa Ana or Onterio or Burbank depending where is S California you are visiting)I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
MSE Florida wedding .....no problem0 -
Well dilemma now. My options are as follows:
Package deal:
Direct flights with BA.
13 nights at a pyramid room at the Luxor
£1550 for 2 people. (Resort fee not included)
Flights separate:
Direct flights with BA.
£1302 for 2 people.
First time in Vegas, the Luxor will be adaquae for two young lads I reckon.
I'm guessing there's little chance of getting 13 nights for the £248 difference between getting a package deal?
Must get this booked, driving me mad!!
And the flights have to be direct.0
