Hi Everyone.
MSE news today, the money shuffle started and the accounts are still looking healthyMade an OP of £218.60 which is the FIT payment and a few £ extra to round my account down. total OP's for this month £344.95 so just about half way to my (FIT month) target of £700. standard repayment and OP goes through on 24th and the OP part of this is about £185 which by my calculations means I need to find £165 to hit target. I know I have a few £ coming from £co and about £10 in my tidy account so I'm looking at £150 really which this month will be fine. I will leave it until my mortgage payment comes out to do the OP just in case any emergencies come up!

Hi All
Boring day money wise, the shuffle is still going on. Had a couple of £ from £co coming, its just over £2 and hasn't landed in my mortgage account yet but every little helps!
All my loans now processed on FC and I now have 19 running. Dont plan to invest any new capital in FC til I check out the other P2P lenders now that FC is changing the way it works. Will continue to reinvest returns and interest as this is what I planned to do anyway.
S&S ISA seems to be recovering a little and slowly making its way back up to my investment amount. This is a long term investment so I plan not to touch except add the monthly amount into it. Hopefully over 10 years I will get a good return.
Am keeping track on everything with the on trees app which seems to be working OK now im getting used to it.
Requested an appointment at specsavers for miniOCC for a just in case eye test as recommended on here. If its all fine its just one potential reason ticked off the list.
Has a lovely MSE collaboration on my blog which is fantastic! In other news my blog has flown to 7300 pageviews and ive almost 100 followers on twitter!!! have about 10 posts to finish luckily I always have at least 10 half written as soon as I get an idea I create the title of the post and then come back to it when I have time!0 -
Bit of a costly day today. Took MiniOCC to footie training this morning in the rain (oh the pleasures of a 'soccer mom!') then dropped him off at a party and went to see norwich City play. BF had brought tickets as a treat for us doing so well on our savings then also treated ourselves to a dvd, Chinese and a bottle of wine. My share was £30 of today's spends but a well deserved break/time to ourselves.
It makes me think though that we used to do this every week, funny how times change and this seemed like a really lovely treat today.
There's been some great freebies on the freebie forum over the last week or so, I recommend heading over there sometimes to check it out.0 -

I certainly agree that things we used to do all the time have now become more of a treat due to not spending so much money. Somehow, it makes doing those things all the more special too.2018 totals:
Savings £11,200
Mortgage Overpayments £5,5000 -

Currently I'm paying £50 per month into s and s ISA, £25 into cash ISA, £100 regular saver, £50 tracking trust + pension payments.
Currently I'm paying off 0% CC £300 per month which I will redirect to ISA and ops soon.
I have a plan, sort of!0 -

It's funny that's exactly how we feel. It's much nicer this way.
Hope things are settling down for you a little now and you are feeling a little better.0
