occ are you after an actual job - my job is from home, part time, flexible (and probably pays more than your jam)...

There is a real demand, and it's a bit niche. Might suit you.

Hi, thanks but no i already have a 9-5, well I say that but its more of a 7am-10pm! I run my own business but it is really busy (usually) and stressful and as BF is 50 now we can't keep this up for the next 10 years as it is now.

We have plans afoot to sell off part of our business in 2017 to wind things down. want to have some side jobs in place to make sure we are okay.

    Thanks tho

Matched betting. A reasonably savvy individual could make healthy ££££ in a year with perhaps 3-4 hours a week of effort. Be prepared to get banned by *a lot* of bookies :rotfl:

I have transferred in another £100 to FC, taking me up to £1100 (wanted to get us both that referral bonus!) Not really a fan of the 'listings' style way in which offers go out, I prefer something a bit more anonymous/faster using fixed rates like Ratesetter has. Granted, the rates are lower, but I can transfer in money and put it to work instantly. Waiting 4-5 days for listings to close feels a bit 1997 ;)

Id love to do matched betting, my grandad was a bookie and my dad a professional gambler when we were little! Its a bit in the blood but I knoy you need to be really organised and my life is a little chaotic.

FC does seem a little dated on that front, I think over the next few months they are moving towards a different model where it is faster. I dont mind it not being anonymous I like to know who im investing in, i find looking at them fun! probably not as fun being on there with an E rating.

Also pretty expensive I suspect! I am surprised how many people are willing to borrow money at 10% for home conversion projects. Must be life in the old dog of flipping houses yet!...
  • I know that's what I think, but they must make lots of money out of it or they wouldn't be doing it. Might end up like that Irish bloke, forgot his name who was a millionaire (on paper) and went under for millions doing this.

I get tempted by the property loans but have to control myself as some of my reason for choosing FC is to help smaller businesses so must avoid property. must avoid property. must avoid property!
  • How about getting back on the eBaying? It can be lucrative if you're selling what the people want. I've just popped my first item in a few months up. When's your partner back? DH is on nights which isn't exactly the same but I do get lonely when he's working the opposite to me.

What is the on trees app ? Does it allow you to look at all your bank accounts in one place ? Just looked on app store for my ipad and cannot find it .

Hi CT hope things are well for you and you're looking after yourself and your passenger!

I do hate eBay, I literally can't stand it. I've got a full bag of branded kids clothes that I must put on but I have no motivation.

BF will be home late tonight / tomorrow morning with a load of orders! I've missed him and so has miniOCC which has made him more demanding. Wouldn't go to sleep til about 9.30 last night just kept on talking and talking and talking. Luckily it's not all the time. How's your part time working going?

That's exactly what it does it's called on trees and is made by money supermarket. I've got it on my iPhone so perhaps look in the iPhone rather than iPad apps.
