Plumbing starts in one week, have all the money sorted :-) rest of the month will be tight but who cares!0 -
Hope the plumbing gets sorted okay and I don't blame you for putting the birthday money towards an OP, I would do the same0

The solar eclipse ruined my MSE day by ruining my solar generation on the only day of the week they were likely to have a decent generation. Blooming astrological phenomenon!0

I've just been over to have a nose. A bit like when someone buys a new house, you have to go over and see it. I will read with interest and will no doubt learn lots from it. Best of luck!

Thanks CT I'm just trying to get a reasonable layout without too much clutter! I think I'm going to enjoy writing it even if no one reads it!0

Day off work today to spend with son :-)
got a letter last night (Friday) from school to say he is representing school in a football thing on Monday. Oh and by the way he needs football boots. Oh also it's on at 1pm if you can be there to cheer him on. He plays football out of school but on AstroTurf so doesn't have any. Blooming football boots. Rang school, AstroTurf boots no good, he needs football ones. Off to sports soccer I go to see what they've got and I'm sneaking off at 12 on Monday. Good job I'm the boss!0 -
Haven't felt great today so quick trip out to squash with little one, then to sports direct to get some football boots (staff very unhelpful, bordering on the rude) food shopping (Aldi £25 inc 5 bags of bread flour!) then home to relax and listen to football on local radio whilst watching rugby on TV on mute! Sometimes I wish I hadn't got rid of sky sports!!!
Wrote another blog post of my money saving mumblings, I'm not the greatest with the written word by put I'm hoping my money saving ideas combined with my desire to put minimum effort into them might be useful to a few people! I actually have another 10 or so ideas I have put down and want to write 2 a week so I have 5 weeks in the bag without even thinking about it.
Not the greatest money saving day, spent about £45 in total but you've gotta eat!0
