Bad luck about the plumbing - and that's all it is, bad luck. None of us has a crystal ball when it comes to that kind of thing. We can only do what we have to. Sounds as if you have already adapted to the new plan, and at the end of it all you will have shiny new plumbing! Can you have shiny plumbing?!:rotfl:
Bet you can't wait till Monday - good luck with the solar installation. Hope all goes smoothly.

Thx HS it has taken of a bit of a shine off the solar installation, pardon the pun!
Just did my first meal planning shop, spent £70 although had a £15 voucher. So really £55 cold hard cash! This is more than I'd usually spend but this is breakfast lunch and tea for 7 days for 3 people. Needed 3 different cereals for breakfast this week too so I don't think it will always be quite this much.0 -
Can't see getting any more unplanned OP's til at least April or May. Monry is going to be very tight til then. Forgot I need to MOT car in March too and due a service too.
Still plugging away though and solar installed tomorrow so can look forward to that :-)0 -

Funding circle updated and kW generated added.
Nothing to report on OPing as on hold whilst paying for solar and plumbing!
Doing well in the MSE front, keeping to meal plan and very limited spending so managed to not touch the emergency fund for solar (needed for plumbing) although there is £5.60 left in the bills account! Going need to check it on a daily basis over the next few weeks until we are sorted out.0 -
Not bad I imagine for a winters day. It will be interesting when you get your bill at the end of the quarter.

Nothing to report on the OP until standard repayment + OP comes out in 24th. Will update sig on mortgage figures and on OP's then.
That'll be it for this month unless I get anything from Quidco or tcb.
Solar panels we're looking lovely in the sun today, sig updated.
Managed a NSD today and had the day out too at zoo (have an annual pass) and then a walk in the woods. Total spend in 3 days 2.69, I'm gonna need to keep this up and we should get over the "plumbing crisis" by end of march0 -
Quote for heating is 3k plus electrician so not quite as bad as I thought. All booked in for the end of March too! Should just about manage to get the money together too as its a bit less than I thought :-)
I'll be laughing about all this in 6 months we solar and plumbing done :-)
Managed to spend about £10 today not too bad
Solar generated about 5 kW today even in this terrible weather :-)0
