I enjoy it CT its a lot of fun watching it too. You can loose money so be aware of that, sont put in more than you are comfortable with hence only £200 for me at the moment. As soon as I reach £20 returned I'm reinvesting it with funding circle to see how much I can build up. I'm just going for £20 per company though to minimise the risk.
I sold 3 things on ebay! Will post tomorrow. 15 auctions still running. Need to get motivated to list more stuff.......
Have put our 20 fave meals In my meal planner app and am doing it next week.0 -

Mortgage Balance = £0

Is there no problem with putting in as little as £20? Might be an option for me going forward as I will still get bits n pieces of money coming through when I am in the ME.
I'm no expert but I think you have to transfer in a minimum of £100 but only need £20 per investment so you can invest your £100 in 1-5 investments as you choose.
As you get your money returned it stays in your funding circle account until you either withdraw it or reinvest. The reinvestment level is £20, or if you like the minimum reinvestment, I believe. I don't know if there is a min withdrawal level as I plan to reinvest every time I get to £20 for the meantime.0 -
My goodness you have been getting organised in my absence! The apps sound good - no chance of losing an app (which is what happens to my paper lists sometimes).
You are doing well with Ebay as well - I think selling a few things is very motivating, isn't it? I finally got round to listing three items over the weekend and one has already got up to £23, one at £2.56 and one with no bids so far.
I had a busy weekend, partly doing MSE-related things to try and save money. I am a big fan of mealplans - I find they make a big difference. For 13 years we lived in a village where the nearest small expensive sm was ten minutes drive away, the nearest large sm twenty minutes away, so when the children were small I started mealplanning and when I have slipped out of the habit, which has happened a few times when life got in the way, I have really noticed the difference. Grocery bills definitely go up when there is no plan.
More about that when I update my own diary but just wanted to encourage you as well - lots of people on here will agree, mealplans are a good thing. I have a chart which I fill in a month at a time to avoid repeating meals to often and it getting boring! We are a veggie household as well.
How exciting about your renovations - we had a room like that, which became a dumping ground. You know you are getting somewhere when you start on the junk room!
Off to record my own doings,

Thanks HS for your encouragement. Some progress made today!
2 ebays sent today :-)
New consumer unit fitted in house and quote requested for outside lights.
Completed adding menu ideas in the meal planner app so will start next week.
Emailed tree surgeon to arrange a date to chop a tree down.
Had confirmation from my bank of my request to round up my regular mortgage repayments so will automatically be overpaying just over £100 every month automatically.
2 hand wash samples to test for Tesco home panel arrived today.0 -
Funding circle updated......
Nothing else to declare today!0 -
Wow that funding circle has good returns, and knowing how difficult it can be for start-ups to get financing, it's a rewarding way to invest. If I only had some money to invest!
You have a head of steam up with Ebay - good luck with the remaining items.
I went to A1d) today and stocked up on enough food to get us through till next week. I had the advantage of being able to check the planner before I left, so only bought what I needed. It works!
Would like to know more about your solar plans when you get there - it's something we are considering for our house because the back faces south it's real sun-trap out there.
Have a good evening.
