Got a tax refund of about £21 today! That's gonna be going towards the solar panels.
Nothing much else to report. Still can't manage a NSD this month. I'll try again tomorrow.
On the plus side got free football tickets again :-)0 -
I managed to subscribe! Thanks for the help with that. I must have done it before in the dim and distant past but I'd forgotten how to do it.
A tax refund - how wonderful. I love a windfall, however small - don't you? And footie tickets too... I spend most weekends watching one or other of my two play football. My daughter and my son play so I have lots of muddy kit to wash on a Monday
Love the 'eek' smiley...
I look forward to reading more about your house improvements and your mortgage-busting on the Broads.

Is going through the torture of listing some stuff on eBay. Relisted 6 unsold items and listed 3 new. That's pretty damn good for me. 9 items listed! I'm sure the 3 new listings will all sell straight away and expect to get 20-30 pounds for the 3.0

has just drawn a picture of a house with 138 bricks!
Am going to stick this to my fridge for motivation, hope it works0 -
Still haven't managed a NSD as I needed some sellotape! Am feeling quite motivated at the moment, the only problem is that I'm saving all my money for solar panels so we don't touch the emergency fund
Someone paid back some money they owed us that was a nice suprise as wasn't expecting it now. That'll pay for most of the electrical board we need for the house which is being put in next week. Result.
A couple of watchers on the ebays and reported to ebay the 2 that didn't pay from my last things sold. It's really irritating, why bid if you don't want it.
Nearly forgot, got my £75 sainsbury voucher for switching to BT today. That was really quick. Very impressed. Banked my tax rebate. Got to pay for sons guitar lessons tomoz and some flowers so that's definitely not a NSD tomorrow :-(0 -
You are doing really well with Ebay. I haven't listed anything yet but my excuse is that I was out last night. In fact I have been out and about a lot so not much achieved.
I'm surprised by your experiences with the non-payers. Definitely worth following up.
I have just downloaded the mortgage spreadsheet so I am off to play with that (I know, I should be listing things on EbayMFiT-T4 #63

Rubbish attempt at a NSD today! Spent £50 and it felt really wierd to be honest. It's been a couple of months since I have spent anything more than a couple of quid.
Absolutely no watchers on my ebays which is really depressing, perhaps you were right not bothering hollysan! I'm really sure they will sell though so fingers crossed!0 -
It's early days, hold on to hope! I have my fingers crossed for you.

Thanks CT one is a safari baby oleg so it should go. If not I'll keep it as it is very cute but we do really not need any more cuddly toys!
Just placed a bid on a breadmaker on eBay, that was very naughty of me! Hoping baby oleg will pay for that if I get it!
Had to send in a photo to school of our house for sons school project, it just made me realise that we had better start doing a bit on the outside of the house soon, at least give it a bit of a clean up because it currently looks like we are squatters!0 -
no good on the old NSD front today either . Wellies for son + birthday card + drink = £12 spent!
have a watcher on one of my ebays and sorted out 4 other things to list tonight.
Off to see Norwich City tomorrow (2 adults and 1 kid - £5 total!) now that is a money saving day out. Gonna pop to £land for some pre/during and post match snacks too! Im going to really enjoy it.0
