    Hi
Sorry I've not been back since page 1 but I'm here now.
Can anyone help me out, when we log our sales is it after fees, so if say I sold something on Ebay for £40 + £5 P&P would I put my total as £40 or the £40 minus the Ebay & Paypal fees.

Thanks and hope everyone is doing brilliantly.

You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time

I'll be logging the money that is available for me to spend - which is the payment from the buyer less all associated fees/costs (eB@y and Payp@l fees, and postage)

  • MS Chocaholic.....i have a A4 bound note book that i keep track on my costs. I work it out like this :

Item Price + Postage charged - ebay 10%, - paypal fee - postage = my profit.

I transfer the profit to an online savings so it's always kept separately and we know not to touch it.
£2 sealed pot....continue from 2014 piling them in until termunda full!
  • Brilliant results from people, well done:T

I read every day but only post successes once a week because they are so few and far between at the moment. Roll on Car Boot season:j

    Since last update have sold:
£8.59 profit for 2 books on Amazon
£42.15 from indoor tabletop sale at a local village hall. Don't usually do as well as that at these events but it was a bitterly cold morning and the village hall was warm and sold coffee and bacon sandwiches so lots of locals ventured in:rotfl:

    That's £50.74 to add please.

Sorted through loads of stuff yesterday and photographed ready to list on eBay. Hope to get back into selling there this week.

    Have a good week everyone:coffee:
  • Some doll's accessories and a duvet cover sold on eBay over the weekend; all this stuff is big and heavy to ship, but there's still a small profit. Then a Blu-Ray on Facebook. Total 14! Also swapped things not good enough to sell for 2 bunches of bananas and a bag of satsumas, so it's helping us get our five a day.
Make £2023 in 2023: (all decluttering), current total £2860 me, £330 for friends & family, £468 charity donations.
