Well I sold my car on ebay for £50 more than the part/x offer I got, so I am going to claim £50

Bit hectic trying to source 2 cars and deal with 2 children having A level mock exams so I will try and do more later this month to make my target
I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine

I'm finally off the starting blocks :)

I listed 14 items on eBay, with combined starting bids of £15.84

Only 4 of the items sold, but for a total of £28.53 (plus postage) before fees

I've already been paid for 3 of them, so have £21.79 after fees and postage :)

That's for 2 non-current football shirts, plus a sweatshirt and a woolly cap for the same team (were hubby's - they've been taking up drawer space for over 6 years). The hat going was the biggest surprise - started at 99p and went for £2.50, despite me clearly stating there's a stain on the inside of the hat that won't wash out (and including a photo of it).

I've let the other 8 items (6 of which are also football team items) reslist themselves as it's free, but I don't expect to see any of the go - especially as 4 of the items didn't even have any watchers this last week.

Will add the money from the 4th item (the hat) once the buyer pays (bid was placed around lunch time, so I guess they may not be on-line again until tomorrow).

Now to sort out what I'm putting up as my 20 free listings for February. And possibly another 6 before month end, as I still have some left for January ;)

  • Am I too late to join? I really need to get rid of a huge amount of clutter from my house and would love to aim for £1000 for selling what I can. Since the beginning of January I have raised £103.62 selling some old clothes on ebay.
Latest wins: Shower, knife sharpener, remote control BB8.

    Total now stands at £23.75

  • It's still very slow. Some inkjet paper and some bag clips sold on FB so please add £4 onto my total. Though I have several people supposed to be picking stuff up this weekend so fingers crossed. And I've put more things on eBay.
Make £2023 in 2023: (all decluttering), current total £2860 me, £330 for friends & family, £468 charity donations.

Sold a few more things on e-b*y and listed a few more. Should have done a lot more with the 100 free listings at the weekend!.
Not doing too badly and will post my total at the end of the month.
I've heard that the post Office have kept the "Special Offer" on posting small parcels until the end of March. Hope that helps some people.

when was that? I didn't see any notifications - not that I had that much to list!

special offer? not something I've heard anything about. but I did notice it's the same price for several weight bands, so I'm assuming it could be something to do with that? if so I've made use of it today, as I posted 2 parcels that were just over the 500g top limit of band 2.
