We're fine! Just a little frustrated, that's all!
Got my Tesco vouchers this morning - £14.50 which was a bit low I thought, considering how much we've spent in there lately and all the free points coupons I've been using. I'm going to keep all my receipts and check it next time! Just had a look at the 'deals' on their website - there's not actually anything there of interest sadly. Maybe some dry-cleaning, but that's about it! My sis-in-law got a free Smeg fridge from MFI with hers last year, but they've stopped doing it now sadly! Will keep saving (we've about £90, which is £360 in deals) and see if anything decent appears in the meantime. Also got a pile of parent club extra points vouchers, which are worth about 2000 in total (£80 of deals) so I think I'll drag DH over there this afternoon to buy some more nappies!0 -
Ive always wanted a smeg fridge, not really sure why its a shame they stopped doing that offer. Did you go out shopping yesterday?
Well done on reducing your debt total again, does it go down by around £2000 every month? thats pretty good going. Its made a real difference to me having less interest to pay now.
Any signs of your baby boy making an apearance early? hopefully you will get that moving date very soon so you can get everything ready.DFW NERD NO.656 DEBT FREE 24TH NOVEMBER 2010 TOTAL DEBT AUGUST 2007 £39000MFiT T2 NO.56 WE OWN [STRIKE]25%[/STRIKE] 31.5% OF OUR HOUSE SO FAR!0 -
No sign of him showing up yet, but I'm getting nasty stomach pains which I think is just the weight of the gut pulling on the muscles around the whole area!
We pay about £1500 a month off things, but I think it was slightly more for some reason this month. I'm hoping when we move and outgoings reduce a bit that we'll be able to increase it to 2k - that would be brilliant! Only thing is that there are going to be a lot of necessary expenses with the new house, so we may go slightly backwards for a while at first.
We did go shopping yesterday and used just about all the free points coupons that we had from Tesco! We spent a total of £63.10, but got 1500-odds Clubcard points, which I worked out as worth about £62.50 in deals, and also a 5p petrol voucher which will save about £2.50, so we actually spent MINUS £2 on a massive load of groceries and baby essentials! I know it doesn't quite work like that as the clubcard deals aren't that great, but it's better than nowt!
BTW, the Smeg fridge that she got wasn't all it was cracked up to be - it looks fab, but it's been repaired twice and it doesn't keep food cold!0 -
Midwife appt today, slightly un-nerving - it was a midwife I haven't seen for many months, and after the feel of the belly she said she was very surprised that I've still got another 2 weeks to go! Apparently head is well and truly down. Doesn't necessarily mean anything, but although this pregnancy has been hard work, having a baby early would be a million times harder! Still, everything's fine and the heartbeat was strong and healthy which is the most important thing.
Move date...yada...yada...yada. Sometime this year. Allegedly.
Just signed off the £10 a day Feb challenge way over target at £459, so I'm well chuffed as I didn't try anywhere near as hard as in Jan. Not sure how March will go with all that's going to be happening but I'll give it a shot!0 -
Hi Panda
Glad all is well with debtbusting, and most importantly with the baby, of course. Hope the stomach pain didn't keep you awake - and have a good weekend.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

:rotfl: Hello!!!
I've just not had anything particularly interesting or significant to say (nothing new there then!) so just haven't bothered posting here!!!
Suppose I could say that we're hoping we'll move this Friday, but any time I say that it all falls through! 9 days to go until the official baby date, so lets hope we can get everything done in time!
Oh yeah, and I learned what futsal is today:D !0 -
