Panda I think we should launch a campaign for the return or your sig. How about this as a slogan : "Support your Local Panda" or you could be known as "The Panda 1 " . Seriously though i really miss your sig as you are so inspiring and I love watching your numbers get lower as you reach your goals.

I am also a "Lost" fan - can't get enough Jack or Sayid on a Sunday night:D

    "Support your Local Panda"

    I like that idea!:rotfl:

I'm determined to make some sense of the new signature rules today - who'd have thought something so trivial could cause so much bother?! The words 'mountain' and 'molehill' spring to mind...

I should be at work today but I've officially given up driving completely because of the SPD business, so I'm only going in when I can get transport (i.e. when DH is at work or on his days off and able to drive me in). I was there yesterday, and between the stairs and sitting on those awful chairs all day, I could barely move by the time I was finished, and was in quite a lot of pain last night, so I'll do the things I have to and skive off for the rest.

STILL no moving date. Getting a bit frustrated as it's now just over 4 weeks until baby due on 11 March and I desperately want to move before that, otherwise it'll be utter chaos. There's no reason for the delay, just a case of getting all the involved parties to remove fingers from certain orifices and get a move on.

MickeyMouse, we've watched Lost religiously since it started, but I was really disappointed with the first episode last week. Here's hoping it improves! BTW, mailing bags will be in the mail this afternoon when OH gets home, so hopefully arrive Monday before your auctions need posting. Will email you when I've got a spare 5 minutes!

    Right, things to do...

I don't like it, and think the older, more compact one was better, but who am I?! It won't let me space the ilnes out properly. Sometimes I have 5 lines which is fine, other times I have 3 and it won't let me add any.

Oh well, it only took me about an hour and a half to do!

Wow, 11 days since I updated anything here! Every time I get on this site, I sort out my PMs, go to the first page and never seem to get any further!

So, I'm now officially not working at all - the SPD has kicked in big-time, so I'm not really leaving the house much at all. The down-side is that my 6-weeks maternity pay could technically finish before the baby is born. :rotfl: Oh well, cross that bridge when we come to it!

Broken-record time: STILL NO MOVING DATE!!!   But, we spoke to the solicitors yesterday and they nearly floored us when they said that they expect us to COMPLETE within a week! That's after all the info they gave us previously saying it was a min of 2wks between exchange and completion (we haven't exchanged yet), but apparently because it's dragging on so long, they've already done everything, so there's nothing to hold it up now. We're hoping that it can be done on Monday as DH is off work Mon-Wed next week and on nights this weekend, so we should be able to get sorted out then. But it's utter chaos around here at the moment!

Finances are all over the place at the moment, we've just been too busy to keep track. I think we'll be ok, but who knows! We'll still have to pay the estate agents by credit card, but hopefully we'll manage everything else out the bank even if we go into our overdraft a bit.

I hope everyone else is doing well - off to find Lunar's diary and see when the 6wk scan is booked for. Still so chuffed for you with that news!

Not sure when I'll update again, but don't worry about me if I disappear for a while, it's purely disorganisation and poor time management! I'll try and get a post on here somehow when junior decides to make an appearance!

Rant time - please feel free to skip!

Further to yesterday's news that we should be moving within a week, and there was nothing to stop us moving on Monday provided solicitors could pull it all together...well, we found the flaw in that plan, being the fact that the solicitors couldn't pull a flippin Christmas cracker. Not our solicitors, I might add, who have been absolutely great considering we're only paying them £300 odds for the work and are a tiny outfit in Leicestershire, but the buyer's solicitors, who are a massive company with a call centre and hundreds of staff - say no more. Apparently, the solicitors of the buyer of our buyer's house have sent a load of enquiries relating to that transaction, which our buyers solicitors failed to do anything with until the remembered about it today. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

So we still don't have a moving date, but we're sure it isn't going to be Monday! Think I should have a vote on whether it is:
    a) anytime next week
    b) anytime before baby is born
    c) anytime this year
or d) approx the same time that hell freezes over.
    Sorry, rant now over!

To make ourselves feel a bit better, rather than the mega-furniture-moving day that was planned (since there's little point now) we partook in a little retail therapy instead! Was quite restrained though, and bought a bargain oven mit in the Laura Ashley outlet for £3, some pot-pourri to shove in my presents box (Laura Ashley again, 3 for £2), a little set of newborn sleepsuits from Next £12 (only wanted one to take to hospital but they only came in sets of 3), and while I was in there picked up a t-shirt for DS, a snip at £7! We then went to Frankie & Benny's for dinner, another £20 (used a £5 off voucher though!) thereby making ourselves feel MUCH better! A bit of a slip into the old ways, but in the old days I'd have spent several hundred quid, especially when let loose in Laura Ashley clearance shop, so all things considered I'm happy enough with the sum of today's unnecessary purchases!

Ok, enough waffling, think the blood pressure is returning to normal now, so I'll stop now! DS has just come in wearing a pillow over his head, so perhaps it's time I left here and put him properly in bed!

I hope that you get a *real* moving date soon.....in the meantime, have a steady weekend xx
