Yes, DS was 10 days late, and DS No2 is definitely doing a fab job of reminding me about those sleepless nights!

There's a lift at work, but it's for equipment use only - don't ask! Boss as been trying to get authorisation for its use but it isn't safe so not expecting anything to happen soon. It only goes up the first 2 flights anyway, and its the top one that's the really steep one and kills me every time!

GLGLGLGL with the bingo! If you have any probs just give me a shout - you'll get me on email if I'm not around here.

Halifax have been faultless (so far anyway!) - as soon as he'd seen all the paperwork he needed, he gave us the offer in branch straight away and has been completely on the ball.

We had a giggle today though - with the offer was our home insurance quote - £712!!!!!! I'll take it if they give me £600 Quidco!
  • Sorry to drop in on your thread, although I have been following for a bit! What bingo sites do you use? I was looking at some through moneybackmadness ie kingjackpot but not sure about downloading stuff.

Hope the next few weeks are as are as comfortable as possible its always the worst at the end.

Hi Wendy! You're very welcome anytime!

I'll PM you the list of the bingo sites that I've got along with instructions (there aren't any downloads needed, and none of the referral sites do these ones). I discovered today that there are a few others listed on the gambling board so once you've run out of these it's worth a look over there!

Hi Panda, good luck with the m.b.ing, post on here when you find out how its all gone. And you've got over £600 tied up! Wow - I started with £120, and just one bookie. After the first one, I was really tempted to do lots and lots, but then for the 2nd and 3rd I've been making these dumb mistakes, so I'm glad I hadn't - I'll be checking what SB have sent me later on, as thats for the 3rd freebie in their sequence of four.

    Good luck.

Been a bit busy the past couple of days, so not had the chance to check everything properly, but there's £81 more in betfair than there was, which (I think) sounds promising!

Just popped on to see if there was anything exciting happening - Chocaholic definitely takes the prize for that today. So glad that baby is well, but scared senseless now about how many things can go wrong without realising it. I think Baby Panda is trying to kick his way out at the moment, so hopefully that's a good thing!

Had the survey done on this house for the buyers yesterday - he was in and out in about 20 mins, so looks as though they've gone for the basic valuation therefore we should be absolutely fine - no silly offer reductions because of dripping taps or the like! STILL no word from HSBC as to whether they were going to approve us or not. Quite disgusting really - that's over a fortnight they've been thinking about it without a peep from them. Hey-ho. Thank goodness for Mr Super Efficiency at the Halifax!

Hope everyone's ok. May or may not be around next few days as I've got a bit of an exam at work on Friday so might have to actually tear myself away from the computer and do some work for a change, but I'll hopefully update all my (geek-style!) totals at the weekend.
