Aaargh, I hate Ebay! Just discovered that they've duplicated loads of listings and I've spent the morning trying to apologize to people as to why they can't have their stuff. I suspect my 100% feedback might take a slight hammering over the next few days, thankfully I've got 3,000 odds, so it won't hurt too much, but I get so annoyed with them - it's the waste of time more than anything!
HSBC rang last night to say they'd definitely have the mortgage decision by 10am today :rotfl: ...that was 2 hours ago. Good job we're telling them where to stick it anyway!
Had a lovely post this morning - loads of free gift vouchers from various enterprises! Will be saving them all up for a little while to see how much I can amass.
MM, sorry Ive been out of everything for a couple of days, but back at work tomorrow so I'll have loads of free time there! I just never get 5 minutes to myself at home! (Cue DH shouting me from downstairs to see if I'm nearly finished, right on time!). I desperately want to update my challenge totals, but don't have the time to work out all the info! £70-odd on free bingo yesterday won, which will help!
Best be off but hope everyone is having a happy week!

Hello
Just read the whole thread. I think you've been doing really well and it's great that you've got a mortgage offer. Just goes to show what you can achieve when you are determined :j[STRIKE]CC 1: £102[/STRIKE] / C[STRIKE]C 2: £349[/STRIKE] / [STRIKE]CC 3: £1000[/STRIKE]

Wow, read the whole thing and still alive - well done!!!
A nice quiet day today, working in the morning and sitting around the house all afternoon. My old laptop hasn't been working well for ages, and it's the one that DH uses, so he's had an excuse not to do things I tell him to! Performed a restore on it and it seems to be a bit better, so I've achieved something, and he's got no excuse for being lazy!
Was delighted to discover that Pigsback have started Waitrose vouchers - ordered one today, and hopefully will have enough points tomorrow in DHs account for another. We won't be tempted to use them as there isn't a Waitrose near here, but we usually go there for Xmas shopping (made do with Sainsbury's this year to keep costs down!), so will see how much I can save up for this Christmas.
STILL NOTHING back from HSBC about the decision on our mortgage, despite daily promises they'll get back to us 'tomorrow at the very latest'!!! What a joke they are! Got our survey back today from the Halifax and everything was fine except that it needs new windows & doors, and a little general TLC, which we knew anyway, so that was a relief.
Working all weekend, but so is DH, so we'll have to take DS with us both days therefore nothing useful gets done while I'm there (apart from normal work, of course!)0 -
hi Panda!! Hope that you have a good weekend, despite all that work.
Glad that the Halifax are coming up trumps, I can't believe HSBC are taking so long to come to their (non) decision!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Or more like, taking all that time before they even look at it and start making their (non) decision!
Hope you enjoy your weekend off too Hypno - get that tax return sorted!!!0 -
Ah no weekend off for me.......am working in the bar until 11pm tonight, and am tired before I even start!!
Tax return will have to wait until tomorrow.......or next weekSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Ooh, cutting it fine! I almost did that with mine, and I'm so glad I didn't as when I actually tried to log in I realised that I'd lost all the details, passwords etc that I needed, and it took me another fortnight to actually get the stuff in the post before I could even log in to start it! Still, if you're organised (which of course we all are!) it only takes half an hour, doesn't it?0

half an hour....yup, that's about it! I can leave it a few more days then, can't I!! I have NEVER got my tax return in early in the last 15 years! Even when they do fine me, they have to take it back when I eventually send it in, so it is not as scary as it seesm. (I'm a bad girl, me!)
This year though I don't want to be late, because I feel that I may be in for a tiny reclaim.....not much, but a little, and every little helps!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground.
