Hiya! So sorry about the no-show - hard to think that someone is that unpleasant on New Year's Day - if there was a bad problem, they'd have phoned....

nothing actually on the diary yet, but I'm hoping all of us real newbies can congregate and get our courage up (and our understanding) before flocking to the gambling board. Like a question I just posted on there this evening - I'll copy it to my diary now.... see ya.

Just finished the clean-up AGAIN! Yesterday's no show apparently rang the agents at 9am to apologise, apparently some sort of plumbing disaster at home. Hmmm. So they're coming at 6pm tonight. Off to dump DS with a pair of disgruntled grandparents in a few minutes, but he's fallen asleep on the sofa - always when you don't want them to!

Managed the £10 challenge today, although I suppose it is a bit of a cheat as it was a mystery shop I made DH do! He'd better get used to it though as I intend to dump more things like that on him! He's really good at most things, he's just too much of a man to go out and think about doing them unless he's spoon fed each step of the way!

Popped into Homebase earlier to see if they had any bargains - bought 2 boxes of tiles reduced to £2 each which will make a lovely cloakroom splashback, but resisted the brown leather sofa for £99 (reduced from £399 ex-display!) which would be gorgeous in our new bedroom IF we get the house we want. Still thinking about it though, as I'm sure I could sell it for more if it turned out we didn't need it for any reason. And it's 10% day tomorrow!

Hi Panda, annoying about the no show yesterday, but glad they are at least coming tonight - my fingers are still crossed for you!
The Homebase sofa sounds like a bargain, but well done you for going away and thinking about it (and if it isn't there tomorrow, it wasn't to be... some sort of MSE Karma in force or something!) I am still chilling out, can't believe that we haven't woken up before 9.30am since we've been off, Monday will be a real shock to the system.
We fancied a KFC today (bought with £10 DH got in a birthday card this morning) so we set off on our 2 hour round trip in search of chicken - oh I really must get a life:rotfl: Anyway update us later on the viewing

That's the sort of thing we do! The only thing we'll really miss if - make that WHEN - we move is the Indian. Can see DH travelling 30 miles to get a decent take-away!

Well, viewers been and gone and sounding relatively promising. They were REALLY posh, which threw me a little, and I wish I'd made a little more effort with my appearance! Never mind. They seem to like the house, and confirmed they've accepted an offer on their own house down south, so potentially could have something, but we've been here before...!

Off to ring DH, collect DS from the inlaws and then off to bed I think!

Off work today as I couldn't move my right leg this morning, so couldn't drive and certianly couldn't climb the 3 flights of stairs! Being issued with some crutches later - great!

Ohh Im excited for you - Lets hope they put in an offer for you! I had crutches when preggers with DD - Its quite a sight let me tell you, a 9 month pregnant woman hobbling about on crutches, and absolutely everyone asks you "oooh what have you done?" - so you have to explain it all the time too!

    Anyway good luck

    Natlou x

P.S - My lounge is nice and tidy, tree packed away for another 11 months, cards down and everything looks clean and tidy for a change

    Sounds hopeful about the viewers.

Do you think you overdid it with the tidying up? That's when I've felt worst - when I've been doing a lot. Though going to the other extreme, sitting for long periods makes everything hurt when I stand up too - can't win!
