Yep I fold the duvet to the foot & open the windows to air the room, closing the windows before going out or to work. I then remake the bed the first time I go upstairs after I get home......that is when I remember lol!

I sleep with the windows open, even in the winter I have them (I have 2) open a bit.
I like to make the bed as soon as I get up.
But if I don't get to do this, I try not to feel guilty as I'm airing the bed properly.

Yep , duvet back windows are always open anyway for 2 or 3 hrs everyday... but I must admit I hate it if I am away and OH forgets to remake the bed .....

We always pull our covers back and the window is left open almost all the time. I'm going to sound mad but for for quite a while now i'v only been able to get to sleep if my bed and pillows are stone cold.before this i was the complete oppisite and id go mad if my hubby opened the window.

No you're not. I love getting into cool crisp cotton sheets. hot beds/sheets make me think of sweaty polyester.

Well, this is what I do.

We have a sheet first, nice on these hot nights ;):D
Then the duvet and a throw on top.

I make the bed in the morning (or pull it straight somtimes :D ) and fold it down in half, if that makes sense.

It stays like that all day, with the window "on the latch" - sort of open but locked.

Another one here!!! I'll get into a bed as cold as you like, but a hot bed no no no !!!!

Usually fold the duvet right down in the morning, so the bottom sheet and pillows can get nice and cold:D

how long do you leave the bed airing? is half an hour long enough...i just hate to come home to an unmade bed, however neatly it's folded back.

I leave mine all day most of the time, but yes I'd say half an hour will do the job:D I just like the bed to be as cold as possible when I get into it. I know I'm weird:o
