Thanks Ruby, I hope I'm free from it by Christmas, but still terribly chesty (no rude comments please) though my throat is a lot better.

Afternoon all.
Alan2004 - welcome to the thread and good luck.
Sue, what an amazing target and I'd imagine still some to come in.
Excellent savings - well done all. It really does make sense planning for next Xmas now - don't let Xmas get you in debt if possible.
The more that join and plan for the future Xmas, or for something nice (holidays etc), the higher the totals.
2 x £2 coins potted, thanks to the s/scan tills.
Have a great weekend.

oooooo what a fab grand total
I do like when we beat the previous year
Am a bit grumpy at the moment as my oven is not working properly, its still getting hot and i'm still using it (haven't got alot of choice in that really) but its not getting as hot as it should again, and just wont cook joints through properly. When I rang the people we have cover with they said they would be out on the 9th Jan  so had to pull the illness card out (really don't like doing that tbh) and say DS is coeliac so makes eating out difficult at the best of times, DH and I both ill as well so I need my oven, they rang yesterday and said they will be here on the 23rd Dec, so hopefully engineer can fix it and i'll have a proper working oven christmas day or not sure what we'll do . .
£3 in the pot today to make me all square with money owed and had 24p in shrapnel so that went in too, DD found 2p roadkill and has put that in her pot (she did offer it to me bless her but I couldn't take it off her)
