We empty our pots and declare our savings in November, please make a note of this year's date: 5th Nov.

Please also subscribe to the thread by clicking on "Thread Tools" (lower green bar) and clicking "Subscribe to this thread"...or you may lose us! To put your SPC No on, go to "Quick Links" (right side of top green bar), click and then click on "Edit Signature" and you're away.

Very many thanks, Potters, for your get well wishes, it was so touching reading them through and especially from even our latest family members!! Thank you! I'm not counting any of mine until the post are full then I'll have to count, and then bank the money, to be able to start filling them again. Obviously this might not happen before November but you never know! Another few coins added from the change from my diesel payment, first pot is not far off half full! (Cheating really as I did have a fair few coppers in a jam jar waiting for a challenge like this! :rotfl: )

Afternoon all.

More bits and bobs bought. Hoping next week is only for fresh food spending.
I've overdone it this year and last years savings have come in handy. I'm expecting it all to be spent come January, but I've paid for flights, hotel rooms, 4 new tyres for car and Xmas. Nowt left for the sales, but I normally get cash for Xmas!

I am like a dog's tail ... all behind I haven't been keeping up with posts at all, I'm afraid, and the days are just flying at the mo. I have had little to pot with all the Christmas spending but I am well within budget despite my car repair. Just potting small coins...

Went late night to the supermarket. Bought some loose onions as they were reduced. Tried weighing them but they were still coming up full price. I needed them anyway so thought maybe they'd reduce them at the till - nope, paid full price. As it was seriously quiet, I went to customer services who apologised and said 'have them on us' and gave me the full 40p back. Think OH was a bit embarrassed but 40p is 40p and 40p more in my pot - hurrah!!!

Evening all,

Went to Morrisons in the train station on the way to work this morning as I needed some milk, I got 4 £2 coins as change. I couldn't believe it.

I had to use one later, and I feel terrible about it, but still had 3 to put in my pot, plus a random 50p.
