Sue - Great news regarding your daughter's savings.

I have been using the challenge to boost my savings for my future. I do regularly put money into my savings, so anything extra from this challenge is a bonus. My long term goal is to save so that I can move to another area. I do have another account that I put money away each month for Christmas.

Hugs to those who need them.

Yep, you're absolutely right Sue....Worrying doesn't do ANY good whatsoever....So there isn't much point in worrying until there is actually something to worry about!! :D

I either read, or someone said to me (memory just gets worse and worse :() recently: It is pointless worrying. If it doesn't happen you have been worrying for nothing. If it does happen, worrying won't fix it. So Helen give up with the worrying! IF something happens, you just have to deal with it as and when. If it doesn't happen, fantastic!! (((hugs))) :)

I pledge to pot £1.50 when I get home. I walked to work yesterday as the car was in for MOT. I wasn't sure if it would be ready for today or not so kept the money in my purse just in case. Car is done so pot will be £1.50 richer! (Although bank account is £251.10 poorer due to brake shoes and skoosher pump).

Thanks Lyndsey dreamerhelen. Feel a bit better today. I will just stick to coppers and low silver next year I think. maybe up to 20p. Unless the holding pot has some delights left.

I really want to teach my little boy to save so I will stick with it - he can put my coins in for me - until he wants his own tin :) Which I have prepared. He's all smiles and giggles today so maybe that's why I'm calmer :)

Hope you're having a drier day than me (although my tomatoes, lettuce and pepper plants are suddenly flowering :)

And the award for the most random post - goes to me ha ha

I *think* there was £14.74 gone in the pot today  I counted it all out and then I got distracted and now I can't remember . . story of my life :rotfl: I definitely know there was £2 coins in it though as I got them out the bank after a bit more Fleabay feedback :D

Am now on the hunt for more fleabay saleable items as i'm running a bit dry  might have to sell the DH at this rate!

I am already a member of that group, what a small world we live in :rotfl: Haven't posted any of my makes yet, I need to pluck up the courage first :o And I didn't know you have to receive feedback before ebay let you receive the money  What happenes if someone doesn't leave feedback, do you not get your money?

hickles that's a great idea! My nan had one of those big plastic bottles and she put in only 1ps and 2ps and over the course of a year, she managed to save nearly £200. So don't underestimate your saving abilities :j

Hugs to girlatplay! I totally sympathise with your bank account (mine is going to get a similar dent as of next week) but on the plus side now you won't need to worry there are any problems when you drive (especially with brakes!) And hugs to everyone else who needs them too :D

Lynsey -- no ants here (they'd have a job getting to a top floor flat :rotfl:) but at my mum's a lot of salt and boiling water from the kettle does the trick :D

91p put in the pot today :j And I shall be weighing it later tonight :)

    Evening

I've potted around £6 in the past two days.

The weather is horrendous here today. My train was cancelled so I got a different one that took me half way home and then walked the rest of the way. EVERYTHING I had on was soaked. I had to wring my hair out when I got home!!

I am very happy that it is the weekend :D
