I'll hold my hand up and say I also had no idea what crimsons acronym was, but now its all been explained I couldn't resist having a google and now soooooo want to have a go at making some :rotfl: told DH all about it and he just went 'ugh! don't tell me about that! I really don't need to know!' which led to me repeatedly talking about 'aunt flo' for the rest of the evening :rotfl:

£5 FB sale today :D am slowly clearing through all my craft stuff as i've finally decided its time to let it all go :( little bit sad but have had a good word with myself that sentimentality does not feed the pot!

our branch has a IDM machine which counts notes and cheques but not coins so anyone who wants to bank coin needs to queue up to see my face (shocker)

today was quiet though not much coins paid in... not potting tonight but I am doing well in this challenge so I have some breathing space...

hope all is okay with everyone....

    Evening all.

siju - nice potting - well done.

Kerry Woman - tax men are nice sometimes. lol

Helen - keep calm and carry on.

Potted 4 x £1 coins and I feel like I'm swimming against the tide these last few days. I'll sort that the next couple of days. £14 still needed for the week.

Good morning all. I potted £3+ last night, forget exact amount, after a lovely meal out with DH, DD and DGS celebrating 42 years of married, ahem, bliss. Used a £10 voucher off the meal but haven't potted that yet.

Welcome to all our new potters and returners. Enjoy saving.

    Congratulations to anyone celebrating.

Hugs to all in need of one.

    Be well.

Of course it's ok, Ruth, though I don't think I was the only one who wondered about the acronym as no one else replied to you. Maybe it's because we don't have Aunt Flos to cater for, bless her. Sounds a good idea to cheapen things though.

I wondered about it. I didn't reply because I had no clue and didn't want to sound stupid if everyone else knew! I do have an Aunt Flo to cater for. She is not my favourite Aunt though, my Aunt Evelyn is :)

I was trying not to put off any lovely gentlemen we have so i used the acronym, i figured anyone that made them would know lol. Sorry for the confusion :) I was just thinking, if there were any sellers on here and their products work as well for me as the WAHMs that i have been buying from i'd rather give my money to a fellow potter :)

Don't ever worry about feeling stupid on this forum :D

I want to have a go at making them too. there are loads of great tutorials out there!

My dad is the same, i had some arrive in the post yesterday and he was moaning about "those things" being on the table so i draped one over his head lol, they were clean and unused. I think he almost died of heart-attack!! Bless him.

I would urge anyone to try them, or a least look at the benefits online.

Anyway. Yesterday my wonderful OH fetched £3 out the washing machine and handed it to me :D straight into the pot it went along with some other change.
