Went into the bank today and spotted they had one of those coin counting machines in there.

Once the machine is done it gives you a receipt that you take to the teller for either cash or to deposit into your account. All free of charge, as it should be.

What bank was this out of interest... its would make me life a whole lot easier I must spend my day walking from the tills to the weighing machine... although I do luck out when £2 and £1 coins come in I do have a scout through them to check there isn't any I want, to swop from my purse...

nothing potted today, I just bought a tent from gumtree a bargain though so thats okay

Of course it's ok, Ruth, though I don't think I was the only one who wondered about the acronym as no one else replied to you. Maybe it's because we don't have Aunt Flos to cater for, bless her. Sounds a good idea to cheapen things though.

I wondered about it. I didn't reply because I had no clue and didn't want to sound stupid if everyone else knew! I do have an Aunt Flo to cater for. She is not my favourite Aunt though, my Aunt Evelyn is :)

No potting today :( Payday on Friday though so hopefully will be able to put something in then :D

I was wondering which banks have the coin machines. I know HSBC in Birmingham city centre has one for notes.

I sold some gold in the Jewellrey Quarter last summer and was given a pile of £10 and £5 notes to the sim of nearly £500 so hurried to the city to bank the money (I hate walking round with that much money alone!)

The notes took ages to go through the machine as the broker had given me some right tatty notes and those machines are really fussy!

Not sure what I will do come November as I'll be out 7.30am/5.30pm weekdays then no local banks open Saturday and the post office won't thank me! Be easier if college half term was that week not the week before as I'll be off work then!

Plenty of time to sort that though! Will be so exciting opening the tin:j

Had received a lovely cheque from the Tax Office for a tax rebate for £371.80. Banked that today. Also banked £51 into the savings account. Potted 2p road change that I found today. Signature has been updated.

It's the Royal Bank of Scotland. It's also a small branch which just had a recent renovation in the last 1-2 months.

The bigger branch in the centre of town has had one of these machines for a while now.

    Oh and £3.45 potted today.

    Evening Everyone....

Having a panicky Evening tonight.....Just had a letter from my Letting Agency to say that the Landlord wants to come and look at all the Flats....And even though I'm sure it's to do with some Work that needs to be done to some of the Flats, I'm panicking and worrying that I've done something wrong and I'm going to get kicked out....I think that comes from the previous Letting Agency that were always threatening to evict me for no reason....

Ah well....All I can do is make sure that my Flat is as clean as possible and tidy as possible....and then they can't find anything wrong then :)

Sometimes I just need to give myself a good talking to!! :D

Managed to Pot £3 today...so this Week has been a great Potting Week so far... :D

I potentially can Pot a little more tomorrow after Food Shopping...xXx :)
