Hello all, haven't been on here in a while, I blame cleaning. I tidied round for some people visiting and put my pot in the cupboard. It's really true about out of sight out of mind!
Anyway my round up of today's potting is as follows
£1.30 that I found in the bottom of my travel toiletry bag
£0.70 found in the drawer of the hall table
£0.62 from the centre console of the car
£1.14 from the pocket of a hoodie
£9.88 the entire coin content of my purse as I feel guilty about not potting
Total in the pot = £13.64Mortgage = [STRIKE]£113,495 (May 2009)[/STRIKE] £67462.74 Jun 20190 -

Lots to put in my sealed pot today.
a) I had a brand match slip from Sainsbury's for 32p (every little helps)
b) two vouchers for Debenhams via my Debenhams credit card account, a £5 one and a £7 one - bought some lingerie and charged my clothing account.
c) three vouchers from Marks and Spencer for £11 via my M and S bank account. Bought food and charged my groceries account.
d) I have two £2 coins. These always get potted.
I was also tidying my accounts. Apart from holiday money which I have funded with money from savings, I try to just spend from my income. While sorting these accounts I now have in cash £200 which is not from income this year but which I borrowed from my savings and now can repay with income. I am sorely tempted to put this into my sealed pot, but having re-read the rules on the first post decided I cannot do it.
So, I either have to add it back to my capital savings or I could splurge out on something I've not budgeted for.

Afternoon all Sealed Pot savers! I hope you've had a good week and are now ready for a wonderful weekend. What some weather you poor Scottish members have had, not sure of the weekend's forecast for you, but hope it'll be better than all that rain.
Take good care of yourselves, everyone, and keep safe and healthy and...happy! Love and {{{hugs}}} to all those who are in need of them, take special care of yourselves.
Well done with the trip, Lynsey? Great to hear you had a brilliant time and the weather was good. DH & I love Holy Island, Seahouses and all the surrounding areas too, some beautiful scenery in Northumberland. A great quip about Pavarotti! :rotfl: I adore Queen, such a shame Freddy dying so young as he had so much talent and such a great voice. RIP.
Good saving, Chutney!
Thanks a lot, 32b3, I'm always fairly pleased with what I can get...savings too!! :rotfl: Naughty naughty! Less the 4 months to go, by 'eck isn't this year ever going fast, though I guess we say the same each year.Thank you Sue-UU for your kind words
Saw the physio today. She was quite pleased with my progress and has given me a regime to follow together with some exercises. She said it could take another six months to heal fully
Lx
It's good to hear you've started the physio, Lynne, but what a time for it to heal!! You must have really landed badly all that time ago. Look after yourself and stick with the regime.
Great savings and banking, Kerry and thank you so much for your lovely thoughts and actions, very much appreciated! :kisses3:crimson.addict wrote: »On potting news I FOUND £1.50 ROADKILL!!!!!!!!! Had an amazing day yesterday with my niece and nephew home from Scotland for 2 weeks with their dad. He was kind enough to let me steal them for a whole day!!! I actually hardly spent any money at all!! Double bonus!!
What a time you must have had with your niece and nephew, Ruth, there's nowt like the magic of kiddies. :A:A I understand what you mean about the cash you found being in a kiddies' play area, but fact of the matter is that if you hadn't picked it up...another adult would!
Fantastic news that you've been discharged, Helen! :j Worth the wait for such marvellous news and I'm with Lynsey in that you wouldn't have had that lovely chat IF they'd been on time. Out of bad so often comes good!
Lovely to see you back, engineer Amy, a lovely sum saved from cleaning too - do it more often!
Oooh, such great saving, Frogletina, keep it going!
There's such determined savings going on, everyone, keep strong and save well!! :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:jEnjoy a really GREAT WEEKEND, Potters! .....and keep filling those pots!

Evening all and another lovely day here. Cloudy at times, but when that sun pops it's head through, it's hot and humid.
Mised bag weather-wise here over the weekend and rain expected - but through the night. That will help the garden.
Sue - yes, it's a lovely part of the UK and very scenic. I'll tell you what though, it's made me appreciate how lucky I am with my grocery shopping etc. Pretty pricey in the local villages and I'd imagine you're paying 20%-30% for the "luxury". I'm happy with what I have and would rather visit the scenic towns and villages when wanted.
We're thinking of doing Hartlepool and it's marina and up to South Shields next.
Freddy is a miss, a rare talent. I've enjoyed the times when George Michael has taken Freddy's place and a shame it couldn't be made permanent. But, Queen was Queen with Freedy.
1 very dirty £1 coin found today and I actually thought it was just a very dirty penny. My pot doesn't mind and I doubt the money bags will notice.
Potted that along with 4 x £1 coins and that's my £30 target for the week completed. A few extra £1 coins, but they are for next weeks £30 target.
That's me finished for the week, catch up after the weekend.
Hope we all get great weekend weather, even up in Scotland. In fact, it sounds like Scotland deserves it more (reading the posts).
Have a good one.
